Hello, Yellow Fellow
Chapter 13: Unveiled

"Actually, it was a song I made... to heal myself from her..."

He confessed, his gaze locked onto mine as if he was really seeing Reign in front of him. In his eyes, I could see the raw pain, the vulnerability in his emotions. It made me feel out of place, like I wasn't the right person to witness him in this state. Dapat ko ba talagang malaman 'to?

He looked away, and I did the same. My heart was racing, and I couldn't understand why I was feeling this way. Maybe it was because his emotions were so raw and genuine that they affected me more than I expected.

"Sorry if you had to hear that," he said, suddenly laughing as if trying to shake off the heaviness of his emotions.

"Ayos lang, suppressed emotions are supposed to be let out. Hindi ko naman ipagkakalat, trust me," I said, trying to assure him.

He lifted his head and looked at me again, this time with a smile. But behind that smile, I could sense there were still many unspoken feelings hiding beneath the surface. What I heard was enough for me. After all, I was just a stranger to him from the very beginning.

"Thank you," he whispered, almost inaudibly.

In that moment, there was silence between us, but it wasn't uncomfortable. It was the kind of silence that spoke volumes, where words weren't necessary to understand the depth of what was being felt. And as much as I wanted to dig deeper, to ask more, I knew it wasn't my place. He had already shared enough, and maybe that was all he needed for now, someone to listen to, even if that someone was just a stranger.

"Tara, labas tayo?" pag-aaya niya. Tumango naman ako agad.

I really needed some fresh air kanina.

People were still everywhere, kanya-kanyang trip, at halos nakabikini at trunks na yung iba. Shan was walking ahead of me as we made our way to Reign's table. Syempre, pinagkakaguluhan na naman si Shan. May mga babaeng nagpapapicture, and Shan, being the polite guy he is, would always smile and greet them. Hindi pa nga natapos doon, ginawa pa nila akong taga-picture. This was one of the reasons why I admired him for years, he's never been a snob and always down-to-earth with his fans.

After what felt like forever, natapos din ang fan meeting session ni Shan, and we finally got back to the table where Maki and the others were. Ano bang problema ng lalaking 'to?

"Oy, Shan! Kanina ka pa?" tanong ni Waiian when he noticed us.

"What?" inis kong tanong sa kanya.

"What took you so long?" seryoso niyang tanong, and I could see the frustration on his face. I furrowed my brows.
