Hello, Yellow Fellow
Chapter 39: News

Maki.

"Fuck," I muttered under my breath as the shoot finally ended.

I slumped down hard on the couch, trying to calm my growing irritation. This campaign should've been done last month, but delays and all sorts of shit kept piling up.

So, guess what? Reschedule nanaman next week. Mapapamura ka talaga, walang duda.

And then there's the fact that Elio wasn't the one behind the camera today. Parang wala akong gana magpasikat o umayos in front of anyone else.

Not even the urge to try. Si Elio ba sila?

I closed my eyes and took a deep inhale, exhaling slowly, trying to keep my temper in check. Someone walked in, pero wala akong balak pansinin.

"Matthew," someone called my name, and out of reflex, I turned my head irritably.

"What?" Napahawak ako sa sintido ko, feeling the tension building again.

Tangina, I should've been spending this time with Elio, not here getting stressed.

"Your mom wants to meet and talk to you," Kelly, my mom's secretary, said.

Nandito rin siya ngayon because she needed to oversee some of the problems that came up with this campaign.

I just hoped Elio hadn't noticed how bad my temper's been getting.

"Sabihin mo bukas na," I said flatly, already standing up to gather my stuff. I wasn't in the mood to deal with anything else today.

I heard her sigh. "Fine, but please, meet her tomorrow. She has some important things to discuss with you." With that, she finally left the room.

As soon as I exited the studio, I headed straight to my car. I fired it up and drove off, focusing on one thing— sunduin si Elio.

I had about twenty minutes to spare, so no rush. Kasama raw niya si Rio ngayon sa isang café for their sister time.

My phone rang, pulling me out of my thoughts. I picked it up without checking who it was.

"Bro!" came Waiian's obnoxious voice.

"Putangina, lower your shitty voice," I snapped.

"Naku, init ng ulo mo. Nagtampo nanaman ba si bebe mo?" he teased, laughing.

"Kung wala kang magandang sasabihin, ibaba mo na 'yang tawag," I hissed.

"Woah, chill lang bro," he chuckled again. "Pinapapunta ka ni Sore—" I ended the call before he could finish. Those fuckers were probably planning a night out.

Kakatapos lang kasi ng midterm exams namin, so naturally, gusto nilang mag-party at magwala.

It's been two months since Elio and I got back together, and honestly, I couldn't be more grateful. Thank all the Saints that he gave me another chance.
