Somewhere in the World, Only Loona Knows

Reverting back to her hellhound form, Loona and Balin returned from the living world after sharing a large popcorn chicken from KFC on the way back from the first day of school. Loona had gotten herself a nice hot latte from the place as well.

As they walked into the I.M.P office, they saw the gang packing their gear for the next mission.

"There's my little schoolboy!" Millie sang as she ran over to him for a hug. "And ours!" Neptune and Marijiana added, as they gave him one cheek kiss each before calming down.

"So how was school today champ?" Moxxie asked as he gathered his own weapons.

"It was great, Uncle Moxxie." the boy replied. His uncle figure then gave him a little pat on his shoulder.

"Good to hear champ." Blitzø smiled. "Now are there any bullies you need us to kill?"

Balin widened his eyes in shock. "W-What? No. Of course not, Mr. Blitzø."

"Easy there, kiddo." Loona assured him. "He was just being insensitive. As always."

"Hey, it was just to be safe." the imp said in defence. "I mean, what kind of kid wouldn't wish for a bully's painful demise?"

"The kind of kid that wouldn't wanna wish to take an electric seat?" Millie answered back to him.

"Can we just go before you make him nervous 'tomorrow' sir?" Moxxie remarked with an unamused look on his face.

"So Loona, you coming?" Blitzø asked his adopted daughter. 

"Meh, whatever." Loona blankly replied to him. "But only to show the kid around... wherever we're going. AND only for a little while too, I'm pretty sure he's got homework to do later. Don't you, kiddo?"

"Yes Loona." Balin nodded to her. "But I guess I can come too."

"So, where are we going boss?" Neptune said wagging her tail excitingly. "Some town in Montana kiddo." replied her new boss in a giggle.

"Wow. Where is that?" Balin asked. "America, little man." 

He was surprised to hear this from the boss. "What? You've never been to America before?" Loona teased him.

"No. I've always wanted to go, but my parents were always nervous to." replied the child.

"Why's that?" Blitzø asked. He was about to answer, when Loona interrupted. "I think we both know the reason Blitzø." she sheepishly said. "Let's not explain it to him just now."

"Yeah... listen to your friend, kid. You'll learn when you're older." the boss said before turning to the two newbie hellhounds.

"Now... are you two ready to see America?" he asked. "Yes sir." they both said wagging their tails assertively.

"Good girls...!" he cooed and patted their fur, making them pant a little, until he saw Loona looking at him in offence. "What? The kid can do that, but I can't?"

"Ugh..." she groaned in annoyance. "Blitzø's a weird guy." Balin asked her. "You have no idea." Loona lightly chuckled at the kid's innocence, as Blitzø opened the portal.

The entire gang, minus Balin and Loona for now, went through the portal which landed them in the small Montana town.

"Okay Moxx, what's the hit?" the boss asked his star employee, who pulls out the target's dossier. "A male stepfather in his early 40s who killed his wife's husband to marry her and take secret control of their two kids. And he abused one of them to death, bit by bit."

"So who made this hit? The father or the son?" Millie asked. "I'd rather not answer that one." Moxxie shed one or two tears from his eyes.

"Slow and horrible for the stepfather, it is." Blitzø said. Just then, Balin and Loona stepped out of the portal together.
