Luke and Vince sat in the comforts of their own couch, trying to enjoy the peace and quiet as they relished in the presence of one another.

It was a needed comfort, especially for Luke.

The somewhat motherly Omega was so close to freaking out. So much had happened in the span of two or three days! At this point, the Omega was sure that he wasn't even gonna be able to enjoy his graduation because of this.

Vince potent scent of burning oak wood was more than enough to soothe the Omega that he held in his arms. It was then that they heard a door inside the creaking open.

"He's awake already? It's been only an hour!" Vince sighed.

The small footsteps timidly made their way to the living room. The culprit of the timid footsteps wasn't who the mated couple expected it to be. Instead of (M/n), it was the Omega's daughter—Rei.

"Oh, Rei? How're you, sweetheart? Did you...Did you rest well?" Luke asked, stammering over his words a bit as he watched the small beta pup walk over to them.

"No, not really..." The small girl answered as she climbed onto the couch. She looked at Luke and Vince before looking away, "This year...my birthday sucked! I mean, it was nice in the first half; Mom was happy because dad was making me happy, and that made me happier! But...then mom was scared of this man, and loud noises started to sound..."

Luke quirked a brow, "Wait, you said (M/n) was afraid of a man? What man?"

"Uh, it was a tall man—tall Alpha, I think. I don't think I've seen him before, but he talked about how I looked like him and had mama's eyes. It was weird and creepy!"

Luke's eyes widened and so did Vince's.

"That couldn't be..." The pink haired Omega said in a hushed tone, as he looked at Vince.

"I saw that mama was scared of him, so I tried to scare the bad man away! It didn't work, and he continued to press on. If it wasn't for that cool woman stopping him, then...I don't know what would've happened.."

The mated couple released sighs,

"Well, you don't have to worry about that man anymore, okay? I'm sure he's gonna be dealt with in due time, so you don't have to worry for you mama!" Luke soothe.

"Then, what about papa?"

"Do you mean that don? You don't have to worry about him! I'm sure he's good..." Vince said in a tone that made him sound careless.

Luke hit Vince in the stomach with his elbow.

"How about you help Vince clean up the house a little, hm? It'll help take you mind off things.."

Vince looked a little surprised, but he didn't say anything in rebuttal.

"O—Okay...go in the kitchen and Vince will be behind you!"

With a nod, the girl hopped off the couch. She headed straight to the kitchen.

"What are you planning?" Vince said, making sure that Rei was not around.

"I want to handle a couple of things, and I want you to keep (M/n) and Rei distracted while I'm out!" Luke said as he stood up from the couch.

"Babe, that doesn't tell me what you're gonna do! I want the full description!" Vince said before standing up with him.

"Look, I...just need to clarify a few things with that Mafia Alpha and his friend."

Vince eye twitched slightly, "Babe, are you sure you're okay? Why the hell would you want to go back there! Do you know how dangerous that is, and you're planning to do that alone?!" The Alpha snarled a bit, fangs bared as he was slightly irritated by his lover's decision.
