Okay, so, my writing's changed a lot. So, here's a few things that have changed:

1. The narrations are gonna be bold.

2. (M/N) has changed to (MC).

3. (MC)'s mother now has a name, and it is Elena Whitlow; therefore, the (MC) is also a Whitlow.

Anyways, I think that's all.

Beautiful eyes that were tainted by tired, heavy bags underneath opened to stare up at the perfect white roof of the bedroom the owner laid in. He sat up with messed up hair, a headache, and a silent whimper from the pain of it. He released a sigh as he touched his forehead in an attempt to sooth the small ache of pain, but he looking around his surroundings as he did so.

He was in a room that was familiar, but also unfamiliar. It wasn't a room that belonged in his house; granted, it's been a day or two since he's seen a room that belonged in his household.

"Where am I?..."

As if on cue, the memories of past events had flooded into his already aching mind. "Ah," He started, his voice drying and worn from nonstop crying. "I came to Luke and Vince's house in a fit of distress." He laid back into the bed with a groan. "I probably reeked of rancid pheromones..."

"How long have I been here for? Did a day pass already? I hope I'm not bothering them too much. I'm pretty sure they're already tired of my bullshit anyways. I mean, what kind of best friend goes incognito without telling them where the hell they are—especially when in custody of a child..." After a few seconds of silence, a sudden thought clicked in (MC)'s head. He looked around the bed he was in, but it only rose his caution when what he was looking for wasn't there.

"Where's Rei?!" He searched for any sign of his daughter in the room, but he didn't see any. He quickly threw the comfortable sheets off of him and hastily walked out the room.

He immediately went to the living room as he smelt his daughter's scent.

"Rei!" He yelled out as he showed himself at the living room doorframe. His panic was relieved as he saw the scene. The familiar little girl, Rei, with her beautiful blond hair was sat on the couch. She looked towards her Omega father in slight shock from his sudden loud tone.

"Mama..."

"You're awake! Are you feeling any better?"

(MC) unfocused his previously zoned in gaze, and he realized that Vince was also there. It looked like both Vince and Rei were watching cartoons together in silence, just enjoying one another's presence.

"I'm...fine." (MC) said as he sighed in his own relief once again, trying to fix his messed up hair, but it was a futile attempt. "How long have I been out for?"

"I would say a couple of hours."

(MC) looked around, noticing the lack of rumbustious energy. "Uh, Where's Luke?"

Vince scoffed, "He's out doing some errants! He'll be back soon."

(MC) could see the faux nonchalance he put into those sentence's, but he could definitely see Vine's uncertainty—and he could feel the slight venom in the man's words. He wanted to question, but he kept it to himself.
