**Sophia**

I was in the room with Dr. Banner and Natasha was waiting with me. We were stuck waiting on Steve. He told me to head down and he would be right down, once he looked over a trade contract.

"Maybe we should get started..." Dr. Banner suggested.

"Can we please wait 5 more minutes?" I asked and he half nodded. Truth was, we had already wait 20 minutes. After 5 minutes passed I sighed and looked at Dr. Banner. "Let's get started." I said and he nodded.

I was walking out of Dr

I was walking out of Dr. Banners exam room and practically ran into Steve who was rushing to get into the room.

"Don't worry your highness, the exam is over." I said and walked past Steve as he groaned.

"I didn't mean for that to take so long." Steve said and I just shrugged.

"Things happen." I said.

Steve could tell I was upset so he just looked at Dr. Banner.

"How is everything?" Steve asked as Dr. Banner smiled.

"Lady Rogers and the baby are doing just fine and healthy. Nothing to be worried about." Dr. Banner said.

"And her weight gain?" Steve asked and I groaned.

"All women's bodies are different your highness. Again there is nothing concerning. I would just like Lady Barnes to get as much rest as possible. She doesn't seem to be sleeping well." Dr. Banner said and I rolled my eyes.

"Must be because I'm not used to be being left alone at night." I said and walked away. I walked to the library and Steve followed me.

"Why didn't you wait for me?! I rescheduled everything so I could be there!"

"Rescheduled?! You are half an hour late Steve!" I yelled.

"I'm King, Sophia. Sometimes things come up!" Steve snapped.

"And when you want to be apart of something so I make it so early in the morning you can be there yet a trade contract comes in that possibly could have waited 5 minutes!" I snapped back.

"It couldn't have waited! Your appointment could have waited! I'm the King, you are my wife and carrying my child, people wait for me...for us!" Steve yelled.

"Including me? Do I have to wait for you?" I asked.

"On occasion, yes!" Steve snapped.

"I just wish I wouldn't have to wait and have time with you that isn't when we are sleeping." I admitted.

"It's going to happen Sophia. You just have to take this opportunity and get to know what to do." Steve suggested.

"Opportunity?" I questioned.

"You have every opportunity to keep yourself busy as the future Queen yet you sit around here and mope about me leaving you alone! Sophia, I have to leave you alone."

I just crossed my arms. I wanted it to come off annoyed but to myself I was hugging myself, this fight was the first one we ever had.

"You never prepared me for this! You called me to your bed, I became with child, we got married then we had time away to ourselves for a honeymoon! You never prepared me for a life alone!" I snapped.

Steve placed is hands on his hips. "So, if I hadn't called you to my bed, through the passage where would you be? Who would you be with? We know it wasn't John since he fucked you over...someone else in court? Or would you have been like Rebekah, just too afraid to find love again and live a life alone?" Steve asked walking up to me. He was close to my face and I just looked at him.

"I would have been with someone who doesn't look at me like just something to get pleasure from then leave." I seethed.

Steve clenched his jaw. He opened his mouth to say something but the door opened.

"Your highness, your presence is requested." The guard said.

"I'm busy!" Steve snapped not taking his eyes off of mine.

"I understand your highness but it's parliament." He said. "They have sent a messenger who is requesting a meeting." The guard said.

Steve was still looking at me. "Go, be the King."

"This conversation isn't over." Steve said.

"It is. Don't worry your highness, I'll look at my opportunities to keep me busy." I said. He just watched as I curtsied to him. He growled and walked out.

I sat down one of the couches. I placed my head in my hands and just started crying.

"Lady Rogers..." I heard Nat's voice say and I looked up. "Would you like to go for a walk?" Nat asked.

"I would like to lay down..." I trailed off.

"Okay I will go make sure the bed is freshly changed for you." Nat said and I shook my head.

"I would like to sleep in my old room." Natasha looked at me oddly then gave a small nod.

We walked out of the library after grabbing a book off the shelf and we headed to my old room. As we walked in I sighed and looked at Natasha.

"Can you please go to my room and get my nightgown and a change of clothing for tomorrow?" I asked and she nodded.

"Anything else you would like?" She asked.

"I would like Lady Barnes to please come run me a bath." I said. She nodded, walking out of the room and quickly after the supplies I needed were being brought in.

I was soon undressing and getting in the tub with my book to read as I relaxed. I needed to try and relax, that was the one thing Dr. Banner kept mentioning was relaxation and not doing too much.

As I finished with my bath, Nat was in the room helping me into my nightgown and she just looked at me.

"Would you like your meals in the room today?" Nat asked.

"Yes please but don't make it obvious I'm in here. Let them take them to the other room but then come through the passage." I said pointing to the door and Nat nodded.

"Can I speak as a friend?" Nat asked and I nodded.

"Of course." I said.

"Do you think this is smart Sophia?" She asked.

"I would just like to see how long it takes him to notice I'm gone." I said and she sighed but nodded as she walked out of the room once I was in bed, leaning against the headboard.

I opened my book and started reading. This was possibly the most childish thing I ever could have done but I figured if I was going to be alone, I may as well be in my own room.
