**Sophia**

I was sitting on the floor in the main area of the bunker with the babies. They were on their backs, and I was gently tickling them. They were smiling. Sarah sat next to me and watched.

"I can't get over how much they change every day." Sarah said and I nodded.

"I know, in the past month and a half down here especially. Steve has missed so much." I said and Sarah placed a hand on my back.

"It will be like he didn't miss a day when he gets back." Sarah said.

"If he gets back..." I trailed off.

"Hey, don't talk like that." Sarah snapped.

"We have heard nothing in a month and a half. I wasn't expecting updates everyday, but it sounds like the explosions are getting closer and I'm worried." I panicked and Sarah sighed.

"Steve will be back, I know he will." Sarah said. I didn't want to be the one to tell her she was trying to sound more convincing to herself than to me.

I just sighed with a nod. I didn't want to argue about this anymore with her. Every day it was the same thing. Not saying I wanted Steve to be dead and I felt like if something would have happened to him, I would have felt it by now and I didn't, but I couldn't help the nagging feeling in my heart that he needed help or something. I motioned for Pepper and Wanda.

"Can you two watch them please?" I asked and they nodded. I walked over to the guards.

"Is there any way I can get out of this bunker for 5 minutes please?" I asked and they shook their heads.

"We're sorry Lady Rogers, Kings orders, no one can leave." The guard said and I groaned as tears filled my eyes. I was going crazy, I needed to get out of here, I needed to be out.

"Please, just 5 minutes..." I begged.

"We're sorry Lady Rogers." They said again. I tried to get around them and they stopped me. I fought them.

"Let me go!" I screamed, struggling with them. I soon felt arms around my waist and I turned to see Rebekah standing there pulling me back.

I broke down into sobs when I turned to look at her. I collapsed into her arms and just held her. Dr. Banner came walking over.

"Does she need a sedative or sleeping elixir?" Dr. Banner asked and Rebekah shook her head.

"She needs to be outside. She can't be holed up like this, none of us can." Rebekah said as I sobbed.

"Maybe a sleeping elixir wouldn't hurt Rebekah. She hasn't been sleeping." Sarah suggested. I looked up at Rebekah.

"Please no. I don't want it..." I said through my sons.

"She doesn't need it. She and I will go and lay in bed. I will get her calm." Rebekah said as she helped me to my bedroom shutting the door.

Rebekah laid me down and then laid beside me.

"Hey, what were you thinking?" Rebekah asked.

"I need to get to Steve. He needs me, I feel like he does."

"Sweetie, Steve is fighting for our safety, he doesn't need you there. I know you don't like being holed down here, none of us do but you need to relax." Rebekah said and I started to calm down slightly.

"I just want my husband." I said closing my eyes.

"He will be back soon, I promise." Rebekah whispered. She stayed in the bed a little longer until I cried myself to sleep.

I was walking through a field, it was smoke and fog filled and there were bodies everywhere. I started looking at each person not wanting to find someone I knew, someone I loved.

I reached the last 2 bodies I found and one was Bucky. He had an arrow shot into his right beside his chest armor. He was gone. I started sobbing.

"Soph..." the raspy voice said, and I turned to look at the body beside Bucky and it was Steve. He was beaten, bruised and shot with a few arrows. I knelt beside him and took his hand.

"Steve, don't leave me please...we will get you help. We will do something. I need you." I sobbed.

"You are my love and life Sophia. I will always be with you." Steve struggled to get out and placed his hand on my cheek.

"No, you can't leave me. I need you." I sobbed. I leaned down placed a small kiss to his lips. When we broke apart, he started coughing and then was gone.

"No!" I screamed. I clung to Steve's lifeless body and just screamed and sobbed.

I sat up breathing heavy, covered in sweat. I looked around and it was dark, so I knew it was night and everyone else had been asleep. I laid back down on the bed and just sighed clutching my chest.

Steve was gone, I felt it now and he wasn't coming back.

I wasn't sure when I fell back asleep but when I was waking up again the whole bunker was in a hustle of getting things done

I wasn't sure when I fell back asleep but when I was waking up again the whole bunker was in a hustle of getting things done.

"What is going on?" I asked Wanda as she held George.

"There is a chance we will be moved from the bunker to another location. Word from outside is lines are getting crossed." Wanda explained and I looked around for Alice who was with Sarah.

"Wanda, have they heard from Steve?" I asked and she shook her head.

"Only from the pageboy who ran the message." Wanda said as I took George from her.

"Then I should feed the babies now. Especially if we will be running." I said and she nodded.

"Can you get Nat to bring me Alice please." I said and she nodded. I walked into my room and started feeding George. Nat walked in holding Alice and I gave her a weak smile.

"Are we really moving?" I asked and she shrugged.

"No one has really said. Everyone is just preparing for if we do. The note said Zola's side gave a fake surrender some time ago and said they were retreating but it was a lie. They countered a huge attack as negotiations were being discussed." Nat explained and I just nodded.

"Nat, I had a dream. Steve and Bucky -..." I started to say but got choked up and started crying.

"It's okay Sophia, I'm sure they are fine. You know how stubborn they both can be." Nat said and we both gave a small smirk.

"That I do know." I said.

I finished feeding George in silence and then I took Alice from Nat as she started burping George.

As I was feeding Alice there was a knock on the door. Nat got up and opened the door. I heard a guard say something.

"Thank you." She said when she was handed something. She walked over to me and handed me the piece of paper.

I opened it as best as I could with still feeding Alice. My eyes instantly filled with tears the minute I saw the writing on the inside. It was a simple note, but it was all I needed to read:

-I'm still here my love-

I clutched the note to my chest and closed my eyes.

He was still here, my dream was wrong, he was still here.
