In a loud shriek they tumble down from the air to the ground. The arrow snaps in two as they land.
The void knights rush them. Without thinking twice they get up,dust themselves and get in a Fighting stance. The disguise the book put on Elias disappears. Without hesitation he draws out his long sword...his armor glints.
Still circling in the sky, Diana notices his armor and the symbol on it. She gives a low growl..steam escapes from her nose.
She swoops down and at the same time the void knights rush them with shouts.
“ Kid!" Elias calls out. “ feel any the tingling thingy that can save us!”
“ Unfortunately...no!”
Diana lands with a heavy thud....her head raised high. The knights stop behind her and wait for the next command.
Slowly,Diana moves towards them.. huffing and puffing...fire rising from her stomach to her throat and then to her mouth. She spews fire at them.
Thinking quickly,Elias holds up a big shield that covers him and Alex.
“ Where on earth did that shield come from!?” Alex yelled.
The shield is big and a mixture of gold and white with a Phoenix symbol on the shield. The hire is hot and heavy.. pushing Elias backwards.
With determined grunts,Elias tries maintaining his stance.
Seeing how near they are to doom, a panting Alex closes his eyes and keeps calm. He focuses and tries to build up that warm feeling he once felt.
The fire intensifies and blasts Elias back... melting his shield a little. She looks down at Alex and prepares to eat him.
With his eyes closed,all he sees is darkness..the book in his pocket sparks. An image of Diana when she was a kid flashed in his mind. Her hair was long,curly and brown,she had on a bulky white princess gown with white diamonds decorated on it and she had dove wings. Then an image of her sobbing shows. She's in a shadow caged. Her knees are tucked in and her face is wet is tears.
The images suddenly vanish. He looks up suddenly and immediately feels sorry for her.
” I know what has been done to you was hard,” he starts. Her mouth closes and she looks at him with surprise. His voice to her ears were soothing. She backs away slowly.
“ But I believe you can be helped and you can help me. Diana of Floriana,I free you from heartless curse,” Alex said. His eyes glowed yellow and so did hers.
Elias stand and stumbles to the front.
Without control she transformers into her human self. She gasps breathlessly and goes unconscious. Elias catches her. And at the moment,her shinning skin seemed to attract him,his eyes rolls from her neck down to her cleavage before he takes his eyes away.
Horsie get's up,his leg regrows and he spread his wings. The void knights just stand there,not quite understanding what was happening.
The horse scoops them on his back and takes flight into the starry night sky. They take covering in the dark clouds and fly away. Alex starts feeling something hot on his laps. He takes the book out of his pocket and it opens. A new page opens and a sketch of Diana materializes on the page.
Alex swallows and closes the book.
“ what is fate up to?” Alex asks him self.
