27. Sir Azure Knight 🧚🏾‍♀️

**** To his surprise, everything pauses at his command. He looks perplexed for a second. He exhales in relief. He pushes the big arm holding him down away. He walks a bit and looks again at everything that's paused. He smiles and skips to the knight.

“ hmm,” he wonders what to do. He shifts Diana and Elias backward. He then draws the knights leg forward to where Diana was. The pointy end of his staff facing his big toe.

Alex smiles in satisfaction. He then walks to the soldiers and start's humming. He puts the finger of a soldier into the nose hole of another. He moves again to a bunch of soldiers who were jubilating when Diana was about to be killed.

“ hmm,” he wonders again,his fingers hitting his lips.

He plucks grass and shoves it into the open mouths. He pants one.

“ Ewww!,” Alex said in disgust. He removes his underwear and skips to the knight...and shoves it in.

He skips to Diana and Elias and sits them up. He then stands in front of them,his hands joined together. A smile of satisfaction on his face.

“ How do I unpause?,” he asks them. “  Continue!,” he yells...but nothing happens. “ Start!?,” he yells again.  “ Proceed!?....hmmm,how do I...

Suddenly, everything continues. The knight splits,stabs his toe and screams. His scream muffled because of the material in his mouth.

“ Ooo,” Alex and the soldiers felt his pain.

“ Ew!", A soldier voiced in disgust as he say another soldier without pants. With a gasp,the half naked soldier covers his crotch...and backs away slowly in embarrassment. He then gets to a certain point and starts running.

“ Are you okay?,” Alex asked with concern and at the same time mocking him.

The knight gags the underwear out of his mouth,his face scrunched in pain. He pulls his staff out of his big toe. “ mmmm!,” he tried containing his scream. He then closes his leg and his eyes go wide in pain.

“ That looks.... painful,” Elias said.

“ What did you do?,” The knight asked, catching his breath.

“ I paused time,” Alex answered.

“ I knew you had powers but I didn't think it would be so... powerful,” The knight said.

“ You knew I had powers?,” Alex asked.

“ You radiate a lot of power,” he grunts as he stands. “ I refused to believe at first because it's been so long since I felt power from a person from another kingdom....I just couldn't believe it.”

Alex expression softens.

“ That's why I kept you in a separate cell. I really wanted to know why you radiated so much power,” The knight said with honesty.

“ Well, you'll be happy to know that I'm from Khaleria,” Alex said.

“ Why would he be happy about that?,” Elias asked him.

“ Khaleria still stands?,” The knight asked,hope sparks in him.

“ It used to,” Alex answers sadly. The knights expression falls. “ We got attacked when the void found out the one destined to stop him was there,” Alex said.

The knight expression rises again in hope. Then he squints his eye and looks at Elias.

“ It's not him right?,” The knight asked with a pointed finger.

“ Hey!,”

“ No,of course not,” Alex answered with a scrunched face.

“ Hey!,”

“ It's me..I am the one destined to stop him...I think,” Alex said nervously.

The knight smiles. He then goes on one knee and bows.

“ What is happening?,” Alex asks.

The soldiers share a look and follow their leader.

Alex turns to Elias. “ How come you didn't bow when you found out I was the one”

Elias squints his eyes.

The knight and his soldiers stand up. The knight smiles. He's finally found hope again.

“ Your arrival has been long awaited,” The knight said with excitement. “ I am sir Azure Knight,commander and temporary leader of the kingdom of Dormatian,” he said with smile.

“ I'm Alex,” he introduced.

“ I sincerely apologize for the treatment you've received since you got here,” Sir Azure Knight said.

“ We understand. We know it was only a safety measure taken to protect yourself and your people,” Alex said with understanding.

“ Who's we?,” Elias asked. Diana elbow bumps him. They both get up from the floor and dust themselves.

“ I apologize to you too my lady,” Sir Azure Knight says to Diana.

“ It's okay,” Diana says politely.

Sir Azure Knight then stares at Elias with a face saying... Can I have my apology now?

“ So,mind if I show you around,” Sir Azure Knight says to Alex.

“ I'd love that!,” Alex said

“ Okay,now it's personal,” Elias mumbled to himself.
