Over the rest of the week, everybody was getting settled into their place.
Balin was getting back to his five days a week of school at No-Name Town, while business at I.M.P has hit a peak. Especially with how efficient Neptune and Marijiana have already proven to be since their first mission.
AT SCHOOL...
Balin began every school day getting dropped off by Loona, who gave him a kiss on the cheek for good luck before walking down to the courtyard.
During lunch time, because it was an hour long, a lot of kids gathered around their hangout spot to hear the boy's tragic story and the stories of his friendship adventures with Loona. A hundred times, as of that week.
Recess time was different, as he, Matt, and their friendship group played basketball at the court near the playground.
As for his five classes a day, he was already getting good marks in Maths, English, along with his other elected courses:
DRAMA: As teased by Matt, Balin loved to perform. But acting was where he felt comfortable at the moment. So choosing drama, he got to learn to tap into this side of himself like he always dreamt, and learn some team-building skills along the way. It was like how to practice and pretend to work for I.M.P in the future.
SPORTS & RECREATION STUDIES: He also found his strength when he and Loona met that one fateful night AND with the swimming lessons he used to get post-toddler days. So he decided to do this course based off his training and his love of sports with his friends.
ITALIAN (Beginners): This was one of Balin's favourite countries and languages, but he didn't know a lot about it, so Moxxie mainly helped him with this course. Whenever he and Loona would visit I.M.P after school, Balin and Moxxie would sit together and he'd teach him the dialect of Italian he once used being born and raised into a Mafia family. Loona would look up from her phone or magazine every so often, secretly pleased at how her favourite toy worked with him.
VISUAL ARTS: Balin's creativity was off the charts. From his love of 'Imagination Land' to his amazing drawings, including the one he made of him and Loona at Devo's hotel. During his visual art classes, he not only made his art, but studied legendary artists like Van Gogh, Kahlo, and Picasso.
FOOD TECHNOLOGY: Another course based off Balin's creativity, but also, based off his newfound love of cooking, whenever Loona helped him make his own breakfast or packed lunches ever morning, like a mother would with her kids. The first week of cooking the kids had, they practiced making their own milkshakes and other non-alcoholic beverages. Balin just made a lemonade with vanilla syrup, ice-cream, and a flake on top.
SCIENCE: Thanks to his love of space from Stolas, Balin had really gotten into the love of science. He wasn't exactly learning the science of space and its stars yet, but because he had a shit-ton of books about astrological chemistry in his mansion's library, it was close enough.
MUSIC: Balin started getting a little more confident in his first love of the performing arts, mainly because his music class was far from the other classrooms, including the ones Amy Floùrest was currently in, and far from his demon friends. He still felt a little personal about singing in front of them, but the shyness was why he chose this class as his final elective. Whenever there were performance workshops going on, he'd rehearse for them where no-one could hear him, like in the back rooms where he used to eat his lunch everyday.
After getting picked up from school each day, Loona would mainly bring Balin to Stolas' mansion to have some after-school tutoring from the Goetia prince himself. He may have been threatened, but that didn't mean he could spare some free time for the little human.
