She'd fallen asleep. She hadn't meant to, but it had been hard not to. She'd planned to wait for him to fall asleep, then slip out hopefully without waking him up. But languid was an excellent way to describe how she was feeling after Aidan had wrung all of those orgasms out of her. All of those magical orgasms that had made her feel on top of the world. He was an amazing lover.

But this wasn't her. She didn't have one night stands. She didn't go to hotel rooms to have sex with strange men she didn't know. It went against everything in her to do so. To put herself in those sorts of situations. Dangerous situations where she was trusting a complete stranger not to kill her or worse. But she still felt safe with him. Must be the alcohol and the orgasms talking. The great sex she'd just indulged in. Something besides her sanity.

She didn't have sex with men on the first date either, though she supposed Aidan didn't count. They weren't dating. Instead, she'd gotten drink, played pool with a hot man and then let him take her to his hotel room and ravage her body.

And ravage it he had. He'd wrung orgasm after orgasm out of her, making her feel amazing and proving to her that she wasn't broken. There was nothing wrong with her. Aidan knew exactly how to make her cum. She definitely envied the woman he one day ended up married to. If he ever married.

Ana lay there in his arms listening to his soft breathing. He was still naked, and so was she. He was nice and warm and she didn't want to move, but she had to. It was not even seven in the morning, and she knew she needed to get out of there. As much as she'd love to stay, she couldn't.

Staying would equal disappointment when he woke up in the morning without a buzz and realized she was still there, and then things would be super awkward. Being drunk was the only way he could have wanted her to stay. She was sure he probably wouldn't have invited her to cuddle and chat with him in the morning if he'd been sober. There was no way.

She slipped carefully, reluctantly out of his arms and glanced over at him. He was gorgeous even now in his sleep, his face relaxed, his hair messy, and those dark lashes of his fanning his cheeks. The fact that she was about to walk away from him made her heart ache. Not that it mattered.

If it wasn't for the fact that she truly believed he'd been too drunk to realize what he was asking, she might seriously consider staying. She wanted to badly, but she didn't want the look of distaste to cross his face in the morning when he realized she was still there. When he realized he'd picked her out of all of the women at the bar he could have had last night. Any of her friends would have happily slept with him, and so would probably any other woman in that bar. No, she really couldn't handle that.

That pain of betrayal she'd felt when she'd found her ex in bed with that girl has been the worst. It probably wouldn't be quite that bad, but it would be close. It would ruin the amazing night she'd had with him. Yes, it was best that she leave. Leave her memories of this night happy.

She spotted his wallet sitting off to the side on the night stand and picked it up, popping it open. She was curious about where he lived at. Pennsylvania. He had a Pennsylvania license. He didn't even live close by? There most definitely couldn't be any relationship between them if he didn't even live in the same state as her.

She avoided looking at his last name and address. She didn't need to know those things. There was no point. Instead she closed the wallet and sat it back down on the nightstand, her gaze darting back to him again. Not that she was likely to forget what he looked like.

Her gaze darted around the room as she slowly stood and walked over to the small closet, wondering if her curiosity would be her downfall. She unzipped the garment bag and stared at the three expensive tailored suits inside. Her gaze darted back to him and she bit her lip. He'd look damn fine in them. But she was definitely making the right decision to walk away. His suits were probably a year's salary for her, or close to it. Was he rich?

Ana searched around the room for her clothes, memories from the previous night floating through her mind, as she remembered him taking them off of her. She dressed as quickly and quietly as she could, then slipped out of the room, and pulled out her phone. She glanced through her messages and spotted one from Lacey.

Call me if you need to make a quick exit.

She quickly dialed her number, happy that Lacey was more than willing to come get her. She hadn't really thought that far ahead last night, and was kicking herself for it. Not only had she gone to a hotel alone with a strange man, but she hadn't had an escape car. Though she wouldn't have been able to drive it anyway. She'd had too much to drink. She groaned at herself. What an idiot she was.

"Ana?"

"Hey. Can you come get me at the hotel?" Ana stepped on to the elevator, and pressed the button for the main floor.

"Of course. Is everything okay?" Lacey sounded a bit concerned.

"Yeah. Everything is fine." Not really. She wished she was still upstairs in bed with Aidan, but she couldn't be.

"Alright. I'll be there in ten." Lacey disconnected the call.

Fifteen minutes later, she was in Lacey's car headed away from the hotel and away from Aidan.

"You up for breakfast?" Lacey asked.

"Why not," Ana agreed. Not really, but she didn't want to go home either. Not yet. Her apartment would be lonely, and she'd rather enjoy some time with her friend instead of being lost in her memories, and regretting her stupid decisions.

"So how was it?"

It was the question she'd been waiting for. Of all of her girlfriends, Lacey was the one she was closest to. They'd been best friends since she was five and Lacey was six. There wasn't much she didn't tell Lacey. She'd been the first one Ana had gone to when she'd found her ex cheating on her. "Honestly?"

Lacey glanced at her. "Of course. Was it bad?"

"That was the best sex I've ever had," Ana admitted. Was it.

"Seriously?" Lacey studied her incredulously.

"Yes. He made me cum five times." And none of those orgasms had been mild either. They'd all been explosive. Especially the last one.

"Damn girl, seriously?" Lacey pulled the car into the parking lot of the local diner, and into a park space.

"Yes. It was amazing," she murmured as she got out of the car and followed Lacey inside. They got settled in a booth and ordered coffee.

"So are you going to see him again?" Lacey asked her curiously.

"No. He was still asleep when I snuck out," she admitted, not liking where this conversation was headed.

Lacey's mouth dropped open. "Do you think he wouldn't be interested?"

Ana shrugged. "I have no idea. He was actually really sweet. I fell asleep in his arms and he said he wanted to talk in the morning. I just... He doesn't live here Lacey. He lives in another state. It would be a long distance relationship, so what's the point?"

"For amazing sex? I'd move." Lacey gave her a cheesy smile.

Ana rolled her eyes. "I'm not going to move halfway across the country for a man. And given the suits he had hanging in the hotel room, he's rich."

"So?"

Ana just frowned at her.

Lacey rolled her eyes. "Ana, you know he was into you. That man could barely take his eyes off of you all night, and then he took back to his hotel room and gave you five orgasms? If he wasn't interested, he would have fucked you and left."

"Maybe, but we'll never know. I'm too busy for a boyfriend anyway. My work schedule is too demanding. I do not need to get involved with a rich man." She sat back. She had a life to get back to, and it didn't include Aidan. No matter how badly she wanted it to.

Aidan would forever remain a distant fond memory of hers, one she would indulge in at later times when she had her battery operated boyfriend out to play. Until then, he needed to stay tucked away in her memory and no where else.
