Aidan opened the door to his apartment and walked inside, breathing a small sigh of relief that he was finally alone. He hated all of this so much. He hated how much he didn't really want anything to do with Bianca. She was sweet, with a side of sassiness, and he knew she would make him a good mate, but he just had no interest in her whatsoever and it annoyed him that he didn't.
He didn't want to, though. He wanted Ana, the woman who was his soulmate. He'd thought about her almost non-stop today. When he should have been thinking about other things, he was thinking of Ana. How was he supposed to be marking Bianca when all he wanted to do was slide his canines into Ana's pretty little neck.
But somehow, he had to. For his own sanity, he had to. He didn't want to though. He didn't want access to her emotions, and he didn't want her having access to his own. He didn't want that kind of intimacy with her. He could barely stand the thought of it.
He walked into his bedroom and slammed the door behind him, then tossed his bag down on his bed. He threw open the French doors in his room and walked outside, then stood there on the deck, breathing in deeply as he looked out over the woods. 'You want to go for a run?'
'No,' Ghost replied, annoyed.
Aidan sighed, annoyed with his wolf. Thoughts of Ana drifted through his mind again, and he indulged, letting himself remember how it felt to be buried inside of her sweet body. He missed her so much. He groaned as his blood rushed straight to his dick. His gums ached as the need to mark her rushed through him, overwhelming him. It was like his body knew he was about to betray her and mark another.
He walked back inside of his room, and unbuttoned his jeans, then stripped them off. He yanked his boxers off, and wrapped his hand around his cock, squeezing it a bit. He let his mind drift as he stroked his own dick, letting his thoughts run to Ana. This had to be the last time he jerked off to her. He couldn't do this again.
He felt the tension building, as he remembered every single moment of his night with her. The softness of her skin, the way she felt in his arms, her scent, the way she'd tasted. All of it crashed through his mind, and as his orgasm approached, his canines popped out. He jerked his dick a few more times and then the orgasm shot through him, her name on his lips.
Aidan walked into the bathroom to clean up a moment later. He placed both hands on the vanity and leaned forward, staring at himself in the mirror. He breathed out slowly as he retracted his canines. He had to put her out of his mind. For Bianca and his own sanity. The sooner he marked Bianca and broke the bond with Ana, the better.
He walked back out into his bedroom and pulled his jeans back on. Even if Ghost was disagreeable, he still needed to get out. He couldn't stay here. He needed a distraction. He wished Xavier was available or even Zane. Xavier had brought home his mate though, and Aidan knew he couldn't interrupt him. And Zane, well, at the moment, Aidan sort of wanted to punch him. You guys up? he linked Dylan
Yeah, we are. What's up?
You mind if I drop by? I need to talk, and maybe I need to get drunk.
Of course. Come on over.
Be there shortly. Aidan headed back out the door, closing it behind him, then headed down the steps to the ground level. He walked around the house and found the path out to Dylan and Damien's house.
They were twins, identical and just a few months older than him. Their mother was the sister of the Alpha King. They had been incredibly close when they were younger and chosen to build a house together. But then Dylan had found his mate, and everything change.
