"You know those two sexy men sitting across the bar?" Avery asked. She would notice them. Avery always was on the lookout for a hot man. She had no qualms about going home with one and getting laid. She'd zeroed in on the two she'd mentioned right after they walked in, and had been studying them quite a bit. Her eyes suddenly widened. "He just dumped that entire bottle down his throat." She shuddered. "And now he's coming this way."
Tatiana Sawyer resisted the urge to turn in her seat and look at him. She wasn't looking to get laid. No doubt Avery would jump on him the first chance she got.
"Bad boy vibes," Avery muttered. "Hot, but I think he's more interested in you, Ana."
What? Her? She almost snorted. Not likely. But she gave in and turned in her seat to get a good look at him anyway, and holy shit. The first thing her eyes came into contact with was his broad chest encased in a dark t-shirt. A nicely muscled chest that screamed that he spent hours at the gym. She let her eyes travel up and meet the bluest eyes she'd ever seen. Dark blue that looked like a stormy sea. Her gaze locked on his and her breath caught. Her world rocked as she stared at him and for a brief moment, she forgot that anyone else was in the room. This man was walking sex, and her body was begging for him.
"Hi," he said softly, his gorgeous blue eyes on her. He wasn't looking at any of the other women, just her.
That had to be the sexiest voice she'd ever heard in her life. It sent tingles down her spine and made her instantly think of him over her, inside of her, while he spoke to her, telling her what he wanted to do to her. She needed to respond to him. "Hi." She looked him over again. He was extremely hot, and Avery was right. He did give off bad boy vibes. Totally not her type, but for him, she might make an exception. She licked her lips and watched his gaze drop to him.
"Can I buy you a drink?"
Yes. You can do whatever you want to me. You can bend me over this stool, yank my jeans off and fuck me senseless. But she highly doubted he was that interested in her. After her last boyfriend, her confidence in her own body was not great. But she still couldn't rip her eyes off of him. Until her friend, Lacy, bumped her leg under the table and shocked her back to reality.
What had he asked her again? Oh yes. "Are you buying for all of us?" He had to be the sexiest man she'd ever laid eyes on. His hair was dark, and looked almost black under the low lights. It was long on top and faded short on the sides. He had stubble on his handsome face that she found highly attractive, and thoughts of him rubbing it against her thighs and sex while he ate her out crossed her mind. His shoulders were broad and muscled, and she noticed he had sleeves tattooed on both of his arms. She loved tattoos. She had a half sleeve herself on one arm, and had considered getting more on the other. She just hadn't done so yet.
He flashed her a sexy smile that made him even more beautiful. Were men beautiful? This one was. She suddenly really wanted to know his name.
"What are you all drinking?"
Ana could tell her friends were all interested in this man, and a surge of jealousy ran through her at their open flirtation with him while he discussed their drink choices. He was nice to them all, considering she'd put him on the spot by asking him to buy them all drinks, but he hadn't moved from her side though, and she could feel the warmth from his body. She was also completely aware that his hand was on the back of her chair, though it was just resting there, but it opened him to her and made it so easy for her to lean into him if she really wanted to. Though why she was contemplating that was beyond her.
Her whole reason for even asking him to buy them all drinks was deflective and her way of looking for an out if she needed it. But why? He was most definitely interested in her, and she was more than interested in him, but the sane side of her wanted to resist. It wanted to remind her that she didn't pick up men at the bar and go home with them. It wanted to remind her that she had too many curves and it had been quite a while since a man had hit on her. It wanted to remind her of the cruel, degrading words her ex had last said to her. Men this beautiful wouldn't be interested in her.
Maybe he just thought she'd be an easy lay and that's why he'd zeroed in on her. Well, he might be surprised. But she'd let him flirt with her and see how serious he was. He was being kind enough to buy drinks for all of them, and she knew that wasn't going to be cheap. Even Lacey, who had told him no at first had finally given in to him and given him her order. Ana wondered if he'd get them all right.
"Okay. I'll be back." He turned and his gaze met hers for a long moment before he turned and walked towards the bar.
Ana sucked in a breath, turning in her seat to watch him walk away. Good grief but that man was delicious. He had a nice ass too, and she breathed in slowly, trying to get her desire for him under control. No man had ever intrigued her the way he did, not even the men she'd had serious relationships with. She'd never been drawn to them the way she was to him. It was ridiculous. She must have had too much to drink.
"You going up there with him?" Lacey asked, leaning in close to her.
"I shouldn't," she responded, watching him at the bar. He was standing close to another man, and talking to him while he waited for the bartender to make the drinks. The other man was gorgeous too, though his hair was lighter in color. This was like Hot Men Night at the bar.
"Why not? You're the only one of us who hasn't gotten laid recently. And he's definitely into you," Lacey said. "He looked like the wanted to bend you over that stool and fuck you."
"I doubt it." But she felt the same. Like there was some kind of connection there between them. But she knew it was probably one-sided. Guys like him didn't go after girls like her. They didn't date girls like her. And she'd been way too busy over the last few years to worry about a boyfriend. Way too busy. Not to mention, after her last relationship, she wasn't sure she wanted to get involved with another man, especially one that beautiful.
"He was more focused on you while he was talking to the rest of us," Avery told her. "He might have been talking to us, but his eyes kept drifting back to you."
"I'm not looking for a boyfriend right now. I'm too busy," she said. Well, that wasn't totally true, but she knew it probably wouldn't be long before she got busy again. Her job took up a lot of her time, and she usually became so focused on what she was doing, she'd forget about everything else. It was another reason her last boyfriend gave for dumping her. Though if he hadn't dumped her, she would have dumped him. Dickhead.
Lacey scoffed at her words.
"Who said anything about a boyfriend?" Raven, another friend of theirs spoke up.
Ana's head snapped to Raven. "What?"
"Sex. Tie that man down and ride him all night long. Aren't you the least bit curious about what he's packing?" Raven smirked at her. "Because I know I am."
Ana blew out a deep breath slowly. Did she want to let him get that close? Yes. She'd be lying if she said no. She sighed softly and stood. "Fine." She walked over to him. He wasn't going to be carrying all of their drinks back by himself anyway. She stopped maybe a foot away from him.
He turned to her and smiled. "Hi."
"Hi," she responded. Did he know how gorgeous he was? Probably. She wondered if he was a dick. Arrogant. Just sex, she reminded herself. Just sex.
The guy he was talking to looked over at her and smiled, but didn't say anything. He looked a bit similar to her man, and she wondered if they were brothers. Her man. She internally rolled her eyes at herself.
