Ana pulled up in front of the storage unit and sighed. The last thing she wanted to do was spend time unloading all of this crap. At least it wasn't hot. Her thoughts drifted to Aidan, wondering what he was doing right that second. She'd avoided thinking about him as much as possible today, but he'd drifted back into her mind like he always did.

She sighed softly, suddenly wishing she hadn't left that morning. What had she been thinking? That Aidan was a one night stand. That she wasn't going to get in a relationship with a man who lived five states away. That while he might have been interested in her that night, he most definitely wouldn't be the next morning.

But she hadn't expected the heartache that had come from leaving him. She hadn't expected to have such a hard time moving on. She thought about him constantly and dreamed about him every night. She missed him way more than she ever thought she would. It was ridiculous.

She'd told herself over and over again that she had to forget about him and move on. She couldn't spend her life wondering about a man she'd had a one night stand with. Even if he'd given her the best sex of her life. She needed to move on. If she'd wanted more, she should have stayed. But she'd made her decision that night to walk away from him. She had to live with it. She had no idea what his last name was, and she couldn't go looking for him, no matter how badly she wanted to.

Ana sighed. It was better this way, she lied to herself. Aidan had moved on, and so would she. She just needed to stop thinking about him. And stop dreaming about him every freaking night.

Ana began working on moving the boxes. She'd brought tape with her so she could open them up and see what was in them. If it wasn't important, she'd tape them shut again and put them in storage. If it was, she'd take it home with her. Anything that might lead her to what had happened to her father. She was mostly looking for the box that contained the notebooks.

She ended up taking two boxes with her. The others were all full of nicknacks and clothing, among other things. These two contained the notebooks and a laptop. They were the ones that would interest her the most. At least for now. Ana had always had suspicions about her father, and what all he was involved in. She knew that was the main reason, the given reason, for her parent's divorce. Her mother had told her once that it wasn't that she didn't love him; she just didn't trust him. And she wanted nothing to do with him. Ana had a feeling her mother was lying to herself as well about how she wanted nothing to do with him. But it had been fifteen years and her father was missing now.

Coleman had immersed himself in study, something he was incredibly passionate about. Ana had never shared his passion for learning. She did what she needed to when it came to schooling, and graduated with honors, but she'd never enjoyed it. She did love to read though, and read as much as she could in her spare time. Her job kept her so busy though at times, she didn't always have time to indulge. But sometimes, she just needed that escape from the shitty things she saw every day at her job. Sometimes it could all be so exhausting.

She pulled up to her apartment, and grabbed her bag and one of the boxes, then headed up. She dropped the box on the floor in her little office, then walked into her bedroom. She needed a shower and some food before she did anything else. She felt nasty after spending all day in those storage units. Sticky, hot and gross.

Ana walked into the bathroom and began to strip off her clothes. She stared at herself in the mirror for a moment and sighed. She'd never thought herself that pretty. Her hair was too pale, her breasts and hips too big, even though she was in decent shape. Memories of Aidan and the things he'd done to her four months ago flooded her mind. She really missed him, and missed his hands on her and how sweet he'd been to her.

In her wildest imagination, Aidan missed her too, and had searched for her. He was still looking for her, and she hoped he'd just randomly show up at her door one day, professing his love for her. She scoffed. More than likely, he'd forgotten about her and moved on.

But everything Aidan had done to her had felt good. Really good. The man was a master with his mouth and his fingers. And his cock... she took a deep shuddering breath. What she wouldn't give to have that thing inside her every night for the rest of her life. She sighed softly. All it had done, all he had done was give her something to fuel her fantasies and dreams with. Until she started dating someone else. It was the most she would ever get from him. She'd never see him again, and she had to be okay with that.

Besides, Aidan was probably a playboy with a different woman in his bed whenever he wished. No man that good looking would have a hard time finding a woman. She was actually surprised he didn't have a girlfriend. But maybe he preferred it that way. Maybe he didn't want a girlfriend. Maybe he traveled a bunch for business, and he wanted to have a different woman in his bed every night. The thought of it made her a little sick and she shoved it aside.

Aidan would fuel her fantasies and nothing else. She didn't have time for a boyfriend as it was. That was the reason she'd been single for the last few years. That and the fact that her last boyfriend had hurt her so badly.

She stepped into the shower and bathed quickly, then dried off and pulled on her most comfortable non-sexy pajamas and made herself some dinner. Once she had eaten, she walked into her office and opened the boxes she'd brought back from her father's. She set up the laptop and sorted through the notebooks, then grabbed the top one and headed into her bedroom. She'd read through them for a bit, then get some sleep. Or at least try to.

Generally her dreams were full of Aidan. And sometimes, as weird as it sounded, they also featured him together with her wolf. The white wolf that she had been dreaming about for so long that she'd gotten a tattoo of it on her upper arm. She wasn't sure what to make of that, of the fact that those two dreams had crossed over to join as one.

Of course most of the dreams with Aidan were X rated, and the wolf didn't really stick around for that part. She couldn't blame it. Her dreams featuring Aidan were so steamy, they sometimes had her waking up in the middle of the night, wanting him desperately. It annoyed her to no end that she'd renamed her vibrator Aidan, but at least she didn't feel guilty about moaning his name when she was administering self-care. She rolled her eyes at herself. She was such an idiot. Falling for a man who she'd had a one night stand with, and then naming her vibrator after him.

She finished rinsing herself off, and slipped her hand between her legs. She was already wet, which wasn't really a surprise. It happened any time she allowed herself to think about him. She ached for him, and she hated that she did. She snorted. No a part of her didn't. That part of her wanted her to go find the man she'd fallen for, to let him relieve that ache between her legs, to welcome him into her arms and let him have his way with her again. To let him love her.

She moaned softly as she rubbed her own clit, her thoughts on him and the way he'd pleasured her. The way he'd felt inside her mouth, the way his mouth had felt on her. Much better than her own hands. The way he'd felt inside her. Her orgasm rushed through her, though not nearly as strong as what it had been at his hands. It never was.

She sighed as flipped off the water and brushed at the wayward tear that trickled down her cheek. Stupid. She'd fallen for a man she couldn't have.
