Balin still hugged with his Aunty Corra and Uncle BJ as Via held his baby nephew Mitch in her arms.
"Balin, where have you been all this time buddy?" B.J asked him, making Balin rub his head anxiously. "It's quite a long story, Uncle B.J." he replied with a chuckle.
Mitch clapped his hands and cooed hearing that from his older nephew. "Hehehe, guess that means he loves stories." Millie joked.
"I had a feeling he'd wanna crawl over to you." said Aunt Corra, as she picked him up from Via's arms. "Sorry if he was bothering you guys a little. Just, don't hate us."
"Yeah, Mitch is quite the little adventurer at times. Aren't you mate?" B.J then ruffled his little hair with two fingers, making him giggle.
"Yeah, a real cute kid." Moxxie agreed looking at Millie's heart-melted face. "That's for sure."
Soon, Marijiana tried to be discrete, but still picked up the scent of somebody else with her human nose. She peaked around the two's thighs to see that there was another kid with them. This one looked about 3 to 4 years old, had little brown hair almost lighter than Balin's hair, and also looked way more shy than he was.
"Hello there cutie-pie." Neptune subtly approached the little boy and knelt down a few feet away from him for personal space.
"And who's this little guy, Balin?" Loona asked her little companion with a grin. "Oh, that's his big brother Kai."
"Awww. Hello Kai." Neptune smiled softly at him again. Even with the personal space, he still felt a little shy around the oh-so big intimidating grown-ups.
"Sorry. He's still getting used to people. Maybe even people like... you all." Corra said sheepishly. It was just then that Kai saw Balin and slowly stepped out to him.
"G'day Kai." Balin said, holding his fist up for a little fist-pump. Unfortunately, being around a younger age than him, Kai didn't know how to do that. So Balin gently lifted his hand in a fist-bump position and gave it a little tap.
As everyone saw this, Tex couldn't help but shed a tear seeing that from the kid he's been doing that with for a while now.
"H-How are, y-you doing B-Balin?" he quietly whispered. If Mr. Quiet from the Mr. Men was a kid, he would sound like him.
"What was that?" Balin kindly asked his quiet-speaking nephew.
"Oh yeah!" said B.J in realisation. "Balin, we've seen the news about the night you disappeared. Where have you been all this time?"
"Yeah mate, we've been so worried about you." Corra added.
"Really?" Balin then showed a somewhat guilty look on his face. "Oh. I'm sorry then. I didn't mean for you to worry."
Loona saw the guilt in Balin's eyes as they had mentioned the whole thing being on the local news. She wanted to speak up for him, but still felt anxious about how judgmental they might be. Yet she still hated seeing the guilt in his eyes as well, she decided to be brave for him again.
"Uhm, excuse me, Mr. and Mrs. ...Johnson, I believe?" she cleared her throat to speak. "I've been taking care of him."
"You have?" the uncle and aunt said together. "Mm-hmm. I found him on the streets one night, and he's been safe with us since."
"Oh. I see. What's your name?" B.J asked her. "Loona." she replied.
"Loona? Huh. What a pretty cool name." Corra then smiled, making Loona blush. Once again, someone else complimenting her by her name more than her looks, even if they were human.
