Bakugou was beyond pissed at how the Thursday afternoon had unfolded.

First, he had been coerced by Kirishima to go to the store after school with the extras to get snacks for their hangout tomorrow. Then, Shitty Hair wouldn't be able to go anymore because he was too stupid to do math and needed to remediate.

That was fine by him - if his friend who had invited him wasn't going no more, then he could stay back and leave the shopping to another idiot in his group. But then again, he wasn't even surprised when those idiots were also called to stay back.

Just his fucking luck that he was now the only one in his friend group available to go on the shopping trip with his shitty classmates in charge of resupplying the dorm fridge.

That was how he found himself begrudgingly following the small group of nerds he could just barely tolerate - Four Eyes and Ponytail leading the pack of Ears, Frog Face, and himself. He could at least find peace in the fact that Deku wasn't included - he didn't need the extra time it'd take to pry him out of the truly atrocious nerdy stores.

The Bakusquad group chat had texted over their snack list, and he was looking over it so his classmates wouldn't think to get too chummy with him.

Even though they headed out of the school a half hour later than planned, they were still making good time. Each individual had their own reason for heading to the shopping center, but as part of their student agreement to living on campus, they had to make their trips in groups of at least two so Iida, the ever so brilliant class representative, had requested the five go together.

The small group of 2-A students were reaching the short slope of the street that would take them onto the main road. Iida was going over the grocery list out loud, asking for input or reminders.

Off in the distance at the end of the street, they could just make out the silhouettes of two female students in their UA uniforms. A taller male figure, a non-student, stood beside them, waving his arms around erratically as he talked to them.

Immediately, Tsuyu noticed the suspicious situation and called to bring her class officer's attention, "YaoMomo-"

"Yes, I see them," the taller girl affirmed.

All the Hero students now had their watchful gaze over the event unfolding before them and began approaching with quicker steps; But, they were still too far away to intervene when the man suddenly lunged at one of the girls, making the group gasp in surprise.

But even before any of their lightning fast reflexes kicked in to push forward, a third female student appeared and twisted the man's arm in and out before it even touched anything, bringing it forcefully to his back where she was able to knock his knees in and subdue him to the ground.

The group was left in shock for a second at the sight of the fast takedown, but quickly regained their composure to run and offer their assistance.

Iida was the first on the scene after a use of his quirk and immediately took to assessing the almost-victims, "Are you girls okay?"

The girls, who he could tell now were first years, were shaken but otherwise unscathed.

The rest of the group had now caught up to the scene. The third student still had the man pinned to the ground as she yelled admonishing words at him, an impressive sight to the students who had rarely encountered a civilian intervening.

Bakugou cackled over in laughter as he recognized who exactly the man had been so weak to fight against, not expecting to see you today, "Of course it's you."

You stopped your barking to turn at the voice, "Bakugou!" you sighed in relief when you spotted him among the group. You couldn't lie and say you weren't happy to see him and the other Hero students, having had doubts already popping up in your head on what to do next.
