It was a night everyone was able to call off and get together as a complete group at Bakugou's and Kirishima's new apartment before three went away - Mina and Sero would be moving to new cities for their Sidekick transfers, and in a couple of days, you'd be moving away to start the fall semester...and you had been looking at their study abroad program, something that piqued an interest in you.

You wanted to be a well-rounded person, and maybe taking a year across the waters would do good in opening up new opportunities.

The hangout at Katsuki's and Kirishima's place was sweet; although, you steered absolutely clear of Denki's suspicious strawberry jello after Shinsou had to cover his mouth to force himself to swallow the thing.

It was a sweet night though, even after spending the whole summer with them, it was strangely calm, and it made you wonder if everybody else was nervous about how fast everything seemed to be going, conversing and eating on the floor around a glass coffee table until it came to an end with the group at the front door.

Sero spiked up his shoulders in embarrassment and confessed, "It's going to be weird not seeing each other basically everyday."

That led to Denki digging in his pocket, "Here, got these for you guys going away," bracelets - a colorful array of bright blues and pinks for Mina, black and brown stone beads for Sero, and tiny black and white beaded flowers for you, and now Mina was crushing you into a hug, "Don't forget us!"

You finally took her by the shoulders and smiled off her dramatics, "I'll miss you too!"

At that, Mina clung onto your neck and gave a performative whine for you to not find a new best friend that you didn't know what to do with, while everyone else minus the impassive blond gave laughs.

"You're going to make new friends too," you teasingly countered, gently guiding her off you by the forehead.

"Yeah, but you get to be with way smarter people, and you'll go to the cute library with your cute backpacks and cute pencil pouches," at this point Mina was alarmed, "Woah, what?! It sounds like I wanna go back to school! Gross!"

"Anyways," Denki piped up with a serious nod, "Please don't go on a library date with anyone. I don't think I'll be able to handle the fallout of that catastrophe."

"I'm not!"

"Oi, what the hell are you sayin' to her!"

Denki shot a sneaky wink at the scowling blond before tumbling to put his shoes on.

And now, you found yourself facing a silent half circle at the door that was washed with something like awkwardness, all eyes on the slouching person behind you holding the door open with his other hand inside the big pocket of his baggy cargo pants.

His irritation festered in their blank staring for a couple more seconds before he finally broke, "WHAT?"

"We all said our goodbyes..."

"Exactly, so why're your asses still here?"

Mina, Kaminari, and Sero completely ignored his apathy.

"Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss," they chanted like a cult of circus monkeys.

Bakugou went white-eyed in fury, yelling obscenities at them while they joined forces to tease him together one last time.

You looked at the scene with tired eyes above your blush, because you were being teased too.

You allowed it to go on longer than usual before you yelled at them to stop.

Bakugou held the door wider for everyone to leave through, yapping about how dramatic they were being and that everybody with shit to do will work for it, and Denki thanked him for believing in everyone.
