Your agreed month of keeping your relationship private from your friends lasted...less than twenty four hours.

You and Bakugou had coincidentally found each other at the crossroads of the dorm buildings that fresh morning.

You had gone to bed last night with a buzz, the fireworks still in your ears and behind your eyelids. And for a second, you stumbled on how to greet your - what the hell - boyfriend but returned with a bright smile and a light run to catch him, "Good morning."

Bakugou hoisted his school bag over his shoulder, making room for you to walk closer beside him, "You better act right today. Gotta drill it into these extras that you're still mine."

Ah, right. That. With his work-study packing his schedule last week, you hadn't been seen with him at all, further fueling the conversations that sparked up among those interested in you and Bakugou's sudden availability.

Somehow, the fact that Bakugou Katsuki had been (allegedly) in a relationship - and not just with anyone, but with the school's respectable president - had made him out to be far less intimidating to the people who had quietly admired him from afar, something you were sure you would've felt different about had you heard about it before he confessed to you.

Although you were certain Bakugou wasn't someone shallow to be strung along by someone's looks, the mere idea that he had that sort of attention from people who were just as talented as they were attractive was a little...daunting to say the least.

But remembering how he'd been so nervous to call you his girlfriend just yesterday, you couldn't find a real reason to worry. He had the worst case of tunnel vision you'd ever seen, you knew it was a miracle you even had his attention.

You laughed to yourself when you heard the conversation of his unopened and unread DM's while you washed your hands in the bathroom.

Instead, you thought of how you'd have to teach him how to turn people down. You didn't need another dense bastard like Todoroki making girls cry.

But on your part this morning, you explained to him everything had worked itself out the day after your confessions last week, when you told your friends rather loudly at lunchtime that you weren't interested in dating.

You laughed into a hand at how seriously he was taking it though, "Everyone will be so confused when they see us eating together again."

Bakugou looked to be thinking about something and finally voiced, "Let's go to the library instead of the cafeteria."

"The library?" you wondered, "Didn't you want people to see us and think we're still...together?" your heart still beat like a bunny's at that said aloud.

"Yeah, and then they'll be annoying as shit coming to the table every minute to get your fucking proclamation. We're going to the library," he concluded his order and then added, "And don't think we're wastin' time in there either, so bring your notes."

"Good idea, I have a quiz on Friday anyways."

After a few quiet steps underneath the tree path, Bakugou puffed a breath through his nose, clenching the fisted grip on his schoolbag, "Did those idiot extras try anything?"

"No, you don't have to worry about them. They've been too busy going to a computer café with their cute tutor," you smiled, "It's funny actually, I didn't expect that little boy to become their new role model. I'm glad they're not getting themselves into trouble anymore."

"They better."

And continuing the walk towards the school building together, the both of you noticed weird movements from a certain group behind a tree off a distance to your right.
