You and Bakugou stood side by side in the hall looking at the two top spots of the final exam rankings posted in the administration building, the rest of your friends grouped behind you in fits of stifled snickers and giggles, Kirishima the only one sensible enough to give hushed warnings to be quiet.

Number 1 - L/N Y/N

Number 2 - Bakugou Katsuki

Before you could open your mouth and say something after the shock in your head subsided, Bakugou had turned silently on his heels and walked away with his hands in his pockets.

You laughed and followed after him, "Bakugou! What did we say?"

"I don't wanna hear it right now!" his bark made all other students in the hall jump and scatter away. The foreboding presence radiating off Bakugou was enough to act as a broiling furnace that warded off anyone from approaching him for the rest of the day while he got his thoughts in order.

As per your prize rules, drafted up by the Bakusquad, Bakugou's words of 'bossing around the loser for a day' were taken as seriously as they had been announced.

You were going to have a full, 12 hour day of telling Bakugou what to do. So Sunday, your shared day off, was the day you'd reap the benefits of your win. Of course, Bakugou had been complaining about how he didn't want his training or studying time to be messed with, so you came to a compromise where you'd only be able to give orders that didn't detract from his precious disciplined agenda.

Bakugou, having been so sure he was going to be the winner, had needed that whole week to come to terms with his loss. Eating in an eerie silence at the lunch table while glaring holes into you, snapping extra crudely at anyone who even slightly annoyed him - which was everyone - nearly exploding every morning of that slow week building up to his overthrow when he saw you.

What was it you were feeling? Shock? Amusement? Endless satisfaction? Excitement?

Forget putting a word to the stupid smile not going away from your face, you were just aimlessly soaring in the clouds about the fact you wouldn't be the one being humiliated again after all.

You gave Bakugou's unforgiving glare a smirk, and his eyes somehow turned even sharper in their aim to try and give off the curses he couldn't yell out from across the cafeteria.

The closer the end of the first week approached, the more this whole thing was settling into a stroking delight in your head, while the time made Bakugou reflect on how you had won fair and square, and how he'd have to keep his word much to the bitter twisting of his air of superiority.

To think, you were going to boss around Bakugou Katsuki.

When Sunday came, you woke up at the bright and early hour of eight in the morning to start your day as Bakugou's boss.

"Good morning!" Your bright greeting to the two guys in gym attire coming back to Heights Alliance was met with two completely different reactions.

"Goddammit," Bakugou bellowed, going into an attack stance while turning to the pumped up Kirishima next to him, knowing your very early presence here was his doing, "What the fuck, Shitty Hair?! This is the last fuckin time I let you near me!"

"Don't blame Kirishima," you admonished lightly, entertained by his exaggerated reaction, "You didn't want to send me your schedule so I had him do it."

Kirishima hardened before the fiery explosion touched his skin and put his hands up to uphold his blameless status, "Yeah. Rules are rules. And you're the one who said 'for a day'."

"Godfuckingdammit," Bakugou cursed himself, and you, and Kirishima, and his teachers, and Shitty Deku, and the exams, and the whole goddamn world because they were somehow to blame for this. Fuck him and his fucking big mouth for bringing up this stupid challenge! Fuck!
