You were supposed to have been enjoying a nice evening after a long day at school, laying down on your bed while you scrolled through your phone, but the peace of your disengaged mind was suddenly jolted by the ringing of the thing in your hand.
You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion at the caller. A friend from another class.
"Hello?" you answered, raised on your elbow, face morphing from concern to shock as you listened to her hurried words on the other end of the line.
Never before in your time as President have you had to deal with something this big, this foul, this headache inducing.
Apparently, two boys from UA and three boys from another school had been seen in a heated argument at one of the city squares that was a popular hangout spot for students.
You needed to help them. No, you needed to save them before they could get in real trouble and ruin their futures.
Honestly, how many idiots do they let in this school?!
But all you could think about as you hurriedly put your shoes on, ran out the door, and whipped out your phone again was keeping your fellow UA kind out of trouble.
This late into the evening, you knew you couldn't go there alone - despite your reservations of involving innocent people - so you called the electric quirk wielder that would come in handy in a situation like this. If you were to get held up and come back after curfew, Kaminari would be able to bypass security.
You also didn't want this sticky situation to be known to more people than it already was - so you made Kaminari and Kirishima, who had been in the same room at the time he picked up your call, promise to keep it under wraps. You needed to deal with this as covertly as possible to save those students and the school from ruin.
After making sure Kaminari had his hood up to conceal his recognizable identity as a UA hero student, you ran up to your friend who stood away from the gathering circle, already anxiously waving her arm after seeing your arrival in record time.
"Over here!"
You puffed, "What's going on now?"
She shook her head, "When I walked out of the store, they were already in an argument. If this gets out..."
"Just leave that to me," you assured, "Who are they fighting?"
"I think I heard they're from Shiketsu. You know, that strict, rival hero school in the West," she worried.
"Man, right when UA is starting to get its reputation back," Kaminari exasperated, thinking back to last year when everyone hated them.
You ran into the circle and gently nudged the crowd aside with Kaminari, "Excuse me, please let us through," finally coming to the middle and seeing two idiots from a general studies class standing tall with all the audacity only delinquents would have in a street fight.
"Hey, you guys!" you approached them with a glare after telling Kaminari to stay put, "What do you think you're doing?!"
"P-Prez?!" The two curled in from their defiant stances when they saw you and paled.
"What the hell is she doing here?" They whispered to each other.
You huffed in frustration at their reluctance to fight now that you were here, and held an arm out to put yourself in front of them and faced the three Shiketsu boys.
"And who are you?" The taller one in the middle with glasses asked with a hint of grandiosity.
"I'm their Student Council President," you announced, "If you have business with students from our school, you can talk to me."
