The Beach

Summer vacation for UA's third years.

For the Hero students, it meant grueling and punishing work at their summer internships. For you, it meant grinding and tiring work balancing studying for national exams, school, and council work.

During the day, the common floor of the dorms were a deserted wasteland while everyone was out on the job or holed up in their room with books, determined to tuck themselves into bed satisfied with their work for the day.

Fortunately, Class A was just as determined to keep their birthday celebrations going for the summer babies, and at summer's end, mostly everyone had freed up their schedule for a three day trip to Yaoyoruzu's beach house - which is how you found yourself stepping off the train near the public beach with most of them who wanted, in one case forced, to take a break.

Bakugou, walking behind you with Kirishima, had only come because he knew damn well how everybody would have kept up their pesky whines irritating him to no end.

Yaoyoruzu had also enlightened the class about a wide clearing in the forest and beautiful mountainous terrain surrounding the beach, something that piqued Bakugou's innate motivation to stay active.

Whatever. On his short break, he'd been planning to take his own hike in the mountains anyway. Might as well do it here at the place he researched and already routed.

His other reasons didn't have anything to do with the fact you were also tagging along or how Kirishima said he'd take care of you for him if he didn't go. Not a fucking chance he came all the way out here to baby you!

"Thanks, Bakugou. I can bring it up on my own though," you grabbed your backpack from his shoulder and followed Mina up the wooden stairs to one of the rooms Yaoyoruzu had for the girls.

Bakugou removed his own backpack, eye twitching with the intent to murder when he heard the snickers and murmurs of 'simp' from the two idiots who were the culprits of this when Sero had offered to carry your bag that looked heavy with the million things you had stuffed in for emergencies.

"You callin' her weak? She can carry her own shit, Scotch Tape," he had glared as they made their way out the school gates.

"It's polite to offer a lady a hand," Kaminari had butted in with a mischievous grin as he always enjoyed seeing how riled up Bakugou could get about you, "Y/N, do you mind?"

You had waved them off, "No, I'm good."

"But I wanna get some weights in," Sero had grinned, hand outstretched.

"Um, fine, I guess."

Bakugou had silently glared at them, grabbing your bag and storming off. As if you couldn't carry it on your own, but like hell he was gonna let these bastards drag it on the ground. That was all. Not like he needed them making him look bad.

He wasn't a fucking simp!

Everyone laid out their things in their respective rooms for the two nights they'd be here, changing into the clothes for the personal activities they'd be getting up to today.

Bakugou wasn't even going to entertain getting in the ocean, not keen on getting his hands wet, so he didn't bother taking off the red shirt he'd come with when a shirtless Kirishima told him they'd be playing beach volleyball, rolling up the short sleeves to his shoulders instead.

Kaminari left his yellow tropical shirt completely unbuttoned, putting on his sunglasses to ready himself for the sights of the sunny beach when his muted vision was blocked by two pink globes in a white halter bikini top.
