30: Talks

Mira had been picking fruits for her family. A basket in hand full of fruits, she had been singing to herself.

"Mira?"

Mira was startled when she heard a familiar voice.

"W-What are you doing here?"

"Mira, you're still as stunning as ever! Your voice still dazzling me like always"

"Chin-hae, cut it out." Mira Said.

Chin-hae came out of his hiding place behind a tree and stood in front of Mira. Maintaining atleast two feet distance. "No wonder I was smitten by you back then!" He Said.

"What are you doing here?" Mira asked him.

"I was here cause Lord Niragi sent me" Chin-hae said. "But I wanted to see you"

"Chin-hae, you left me."

"I had no choice. Lord Niragi wanted me back at his place. I work on his commands"

"Anyways I need to go back. My children are waiting"

"I saw your kids. They're beautiful, just like you" Chin-hae said. "Especially Jungkook"

"Jungkook??" Mira asked.

"Yeah, Jungkook. He got his mother's pretty features with his father's handsome looks"

"You know about -"

"I didn't know I have a son" Chin-hae sighed. "I found out very recently."

"Are you gonna fight against him? Against me?" Mira asked.

"Mira, you owe your loyalty to the forest you belong to" Chin-hae said. "Jungkook ows his to Hojin, his dear lover." He said. "Similarly, I owe mine to Lord Niragi" he said. "Weather he has good intentions or not, he did save my life and changed it for my good" he said.

"Chin-hae..."

"I can promise you one thing, tho" Chin-hae said. "My fight is against the forest, not you." Chin-hae said as he went off.

In the training camp

Jay was practicing archery. He summoned an arrow, which he aimed at a tree. The arrow would split itself into 5 and land on the different fruits.

"Woahhh I wanna learn that please teach me teach me!!" Jungwon ran towards Jay. "That was so cool!!" He said panting.

"I can only do this" He pulled out his bow and pulled the string, summoning an arrow, he aimed it at the tree. The arrow went and hit a few apples, dropping them to the ground.

"I want to learn how to split arrows!" He said.

"Why don't you ask Atish Ssaem?" Jay said. "He's been teaching since ages! He knows better" he said.

"I wanna learn from you" Jungwon said. He frowned thinking about the teacher. "Atish Ssaem gives me bad vibes" he said.

"Bad vibes?"

"Yeah" Jungwon said. "He makes me feel a bit uncomfortable" he said. "Just like this uncle bad luck who lives next door. BTW he is our neighbour who keeps getting scammed and cheated on by others. He is a kind person and intelligent too, but luck's almost never on his side." Jungwon said.

Jay suddenly pulled him towards himself.

"Woah woah was I looking so Irresistible?"

"What?" Jay said and pointed behind him. Jungwon turned to see an arrow. "Wahhh... Who is that?"

"Sorry!!" Heesung said, holding a bow.

"Samchon! Seriously??" Jungwon said.

"Don't worry, they're practice arrows, it won't kill any living being" Heesung said as he aimed another arrow right at Jungwon.
