31: Jimin's story

Jungkook was sitting by the window of their house, watching mindlessly outside. Jaehyun was painting some Lord Agni pictures near the fireplace.

"Eat something" Jinyoung came near Jungkook, holding a bowl of Tteokbokki.

Jungkook sighed. He took a bite of the Tteobokki. "He hasn't eaten in four days." He said.

"When he comes back we'll make sure he eats double" Jackson said.

"He'll be fine, don't worry" Chris said.  "See- the cave is burning. And who do you think keeps it burning?" Chris asked.

"Ho-jin?" Jungkook said.

"Yeah!" Chris said. "If anything happens to him, first thing that's gonna happen is the fire would go out"

"I'M HOME!!" Jungwon shouted on top of his lungs as he entered. Jay right behind him.

"How was your practice today, champ?" Jungkook asked, eye drifting to Jay.

"It was great!" Jungwon said. He pulled Jay "I was scared to come home alone, since it's dark so Jay came"

"Since when did you start getting scared of the dark?" Jungkook asked.

"Appa! This is a dangerous forest!" Jungwon said. "There are dangerous creatures!" He pouted as he sat on Jungkook's lap. "Wow! Tteobokki!" He said and digged on to it.

"Keep some for your Dad, Wonnie, he hasn't been eating much" Namjoon said from the fireplace.

"Appa!" Jungwon said, "Are you down because Appa Hojin's not here?"

Jungkook nodded, chewing on the Tteobokki.

"Appa J-J-Jungkook don't have to w-worry" Jaehyun said. He sat near Jungkook. "Appa Hojin's g-gone to do penance to s-s-seek help from L-Lord Agni, his s-spritual f-f-f-father" he said drawing a picture of Hojin praying surrounded by fire in all sides.

"He has Lord Agni's protection" Chris said. "I'd worry more about myself than him right now"

"Have some tea" Namjoon said bringing the tea.

"Don't you miss Jimin?" Jungkook asked Namjoon. Like Hojin, Jimin has gone for a penance to seek help from Lord Indra.

"I do" Namjoon said. "It's like the old days, long distance without contact."

"Ajhussi, I've never heard your story! About you and Samchon!" Jungwon said.

"Ooh, I was just a Med. Student that time" Namjoon sat down. "I ventured to deep in the forest collecting medicinal plants."

Flashback

Namjoon cut off another branch of a medical plant and put it in his bag. He heart a weird noise.

He turned to see a Fleurado, that fire breathing bull, running towards him. He ran as fast as he could, ultimately having to climb a tree to save himself.

The Fleurado showed no signs of leaving.

He had been there for about 5 mins when he saw what looked like a large eagle fly towards him. When it reached closer, he realised it looked like a boy with wings and beak.

"What happened?" The boy asked.

Namjoon pointed to the Fleurado.

"That's not gonna leave any time soon" the boy said. "You want help?" He said extending his arms.

Namjoon eyed him from head to toe. He was shorter and thinner than him. " No Thanks" he snorted.

"Just come, if you don't wanna be stuck!" The boy said.
