The sound of keys rattled in the lock of Atlan and Lyra's door.

"Blue hair, the boss wants you. On your feet." The guard's voice was tough and impatient.

Atlan hesitated but slowly rose from his seat on the floor.

"Atlan," Lyra called after him before he walked out of the door.

"Be safe."

He nodded briefly before being dragged by the guard. Once the door closed, the man quickly shackled the demon's wrists together with cold cuffs.

"Get moving."

They walked down halls for five minutes before the demon was quickly thrown into an office looking room.

There was a large window facing the door with a desk in front. Sitting at the desk was the same blond man the group had previously fought.

"Sit, please." The man gestured to a chair at the other side of the desk. He hesitantly sat down.

"Sate your name and purpose for being in the mage territory,"

He remained silent - the least this weird corporation knows about any of them, the better.

"Sate your name..." The man got increasingly frustrated, but Atlan held a straight face.

"If this is how you want to play, fine. Guard!"

The previous guard entered the room.

"Sir?"

"Get one of the other prisoners. Maybe that brunette girl -"

"Wait!" Atlan sounded desperate.

"Go on..." The blond man shooed the guard out of the room.

"I'll tell you my name... But don't hurt my friends." The demon's voice shifted into anger.

The blond man's smirk grew, his piercing blue eyes staring into the other's soul.

"I am Atlan Skyfall. I came here with my friends because we had to leave our old home."

"Mr Skyfall, you wouldn't happen to know anything about a Miss Cordelia Marino?"

"What? No. I've never heard of a Cordelia..."

"What about Connor Quinn?"

"Quinn..."

The man leaned forward slightly. "Ah, so you have?"

Atlan didn't want to say it, but he knew that last name. That was Val's last name. Was Connor her father? Who was Cordelia?

"Mr Skyfall? Quinn, ringing any bells in that head of yours?"

"No..." he lied.

"Are you sure?"

"It may have a long time ago, but I don't think so..." The demon fiddled with his thumbs nervously.

"Guard! Take him back to his cell. He is of no use to me anymore. Until next time, Mr Skyfall."
