In contrast to last time, Theo was sent in as a distraction whilst the rest of the group hijacked a ship. Also in contrast to last time, it was quite a calm robbery.
"Okay! Zeke, Lyra, get this thing ready for sea. Val, cut the anchor. Celeste, Keep a look out and get ready to signal for Theo." Atlan started passing out orders on instinct as he made his way below deck to check for any sailors.
"Excuse me, sir!" Theo called out to a sailor.
"Ah, good afternoon!" he waved kindly. "How may I help you?"
"Where might I find a ship to purchase?" an unknown skill of Theo's was lying. Unfortunately, it was one he had to pick up from his time with Anthony.
"You've come to the right place, son." The sailor took him to a woman beside a fish stall and they quickly began talking about the very ship Theo and his friends were trying to steal.
"Would you mind if you gave me a quick tour of the boat?" he asked. If there was going to be a way to get on that ship without causing a scene, this was it.
"It would be my pleasure!"
As the man turned for a quick moment, Theo signalled to Celeste to get ready. And so the two mages boarded the boat once Val was onboard and hidden with the others below deck - Cel still in the crows nest.
"What do you think sir? We can go below deck if you would like to keep looking."
"Oh, no! That's quite alright. Let's head back on the docks so I can get you your money." he lied.
When the other mage was back on the port, Theo waited a minute and looked to Celeste to get the boat away from the docks. It didn't take long for the people at the port to start calling after the ship as it set sail.
"Nice work, Theo! Pretty impressive for your first heist." Atlan gently patted Theo's shoulder as he started walking up to the wheel to take over for Celeste.
"Thanks..." he smiled as he went below deck to help
