It was safe to say the five of them had their asses handed to them. The redheaded woman was unnaturally strong.
With all of them tied up, they had a second to actually look at her.
She had falcon-feathered ears, pitch-black eyes like that of demon-kind, only one pair of centaur hooves and blue patches of scales dotted across her body that accompanied battled scars. The chains on her wrists were thick and heavy. Just above her gills sat a black collar with a green light faintly glowing.
Atlan's mind jumped at the idea she was a mix breed like Val, but he quickly shutted the idea out. There were almost too many combinations of species for that to be possible.
The blond man spoke after a few minutes of pacing, "I assume you're wondering where your little birdie is?" A creepy smile was etched on his face.
Pure rage flooded through Atlan's blood at the mention of his wife.
"Genesis! Care to bring our little blackbird?"
The hybrid woman turned back into the trees, and before long, a distant speaking of wheels began echoing through the forest. As she emerged from the treeline, the group quickly realized a large crate being pulled behind her.
'Oh gods...' A look of dread and realization struck Zeke's face.
"Go on, Genesis." The man turned to the woman."Let's show these outlaws the consequences of making a fuss..."
Without a thought, 'Genesis' kicked the large box open. The crate opened in a second, revealing the crow woman on her knees, with her wrists and ankles bound - head hung low.
"Celeste!" Atlan struggled against his bindings.
"So you're the featherfucker..." The man creeper towards the angry demon. "I wouldn't worry about your little crow, friend," his gloved hand patted Atlan's blue hair.
The demon snapped at his hand.
"What a little vermin... It's a shame, really. I'm sure we could've gotten along," the blue-eyed man backed up to Celeste, who was beginning to look up at her husband.
"It's ok, love..." she whispered.
The man didn't seem to like that and kicked the avian in the stomach - a string of pained coughs following along with the angered curses and screams from the demon
"Such dramatic little rodents, wouldn't you say, Genesis?" His blue eyes wandered to the redhead again.
The human worker from before had returned with what seemed like a massive prison cart.
"Good, you're back. Take the rats to their cages," the man tilted his head towards the group of six.
