"Come on, one more." Hannah encouraged. "Then it'll be time to go get Isla and go to the airport."

Lando groaned. "I keep telling you that whichever one is your favourite, is my favourite."

Hannah rolled her eyes at him. He had said this, many times. The two of them had spent the first two days of summer break looking at houses in the area around MTC.

"You're just saying that because you don't want to look at anymore." She pointed out.

"I'm not." He shook his head, climbing out of the car as they pulled up outside the house. "I just want you it to be somewhere you're happy. That's all that matters to me."

"You're not going to get away with that." She laughed, climbing out of the car. "It's our home Lando, you can't just fob the decision off onto me."

"I'm not fobbing it off, I just want you to be happy." In the back of his mind it was still there that he wasn't going to be there half the time, well at least not if him and Zak ever came to an agreement.

The contract negotiations were ongoing, and they hadn't yet reached a compromise that was going to work for both of them. Lando was conscious that he was asking for a lot, more than he ever had in any other negotiation he'd had with the team, but he needed it if he was going to make it work.

The two of them greeted the estate agent, following her into the house as she showed them around, Lando trailing along behind Hannah, her hand holding his to pull him along as they moved through the house.

They'd clearly saved the best until last, and he already knew from the look on Hannah's face this was going to be the one. The place was beautiful and reminded him of her place in Miami, the light flooding in through a set of glass doors along the kitchen wall that looked out into a spacious garden.

It was a big change from the apartment in Monaco that Hannah had moved into with him all those years ago, but standing there looking around he couldn't help but feel it was a change that was perhaps long over due.

"What do you think?" Hannah grinned, walking back over to where he was staring out into the garden, the estate agent stepping out to give them a moment to talk.

"I love it." He nodded enthusiastically. "It's so light in here, this room especially... it'll be so nice in the summer won't it? And the garden is huge! Isla's going to love it."

"She is." Hannah nodded, relieved they seemed to be on the same page.

"I could so build her a treehouse." Lando pointed at the tree that stood in the centre of the garden. "I loved the tree house we had when I was a kid."

"Maybe we get someone in to build her a treehouse?" Hannah suggested.

She was already picturing about a thousand different ways Lando trying to build one could go wrong. DIY was far from his strongest skill.

"So we're doing it then?" Lando asked, realising the two of them were stood there talking about the place as though they'd already moved in.

"I think so?" Hannah asked. "This one has been my favourite out of all of them. We're halfway between MTC and your parents, the place is perfect."

Lando nodded in agreement. "Let's do it!"

The rest of summer break had been a lot more enjoyable and relaxing. After arranging a few things for the house, they'd picked Isla up from Lando's parents and headed to the airport.

A short flight to the south of Spain and the three of them were on the yacht Lando had rented for them, far enough out to sea that no one was going to bother them.
