"What are you doing still awake?" Lando asked in surprise, walking into the house to find the lights still on and his wife sat on the sofa.
"Waiting for you." She smiled. "I missed you." She got to her feet, walking across the room towards him. "Well done, on the win."
"Thanks." He smiled, pulling her into his arms. "It would've been better if you were there."
"I would've come, you were the one who wouldn't let me fly that far." She pointed out. Her and Isla had returned home from Baku while Lando had travelled on to Singapore.
"You didn't miss much." He shook his head. "And you looked like you needed the rest. It was a long flight."
"I enjoyed watching the look on Zak's face again when you won." Hannah smirked. "I hope he feels really stupid for ever doubting you."
"Enough about him." Lando answered. "We've got four whole weeks now where I don't have to be anywhere."
"I can't wait." Hannah grinned, kissing him softly. "What are we going to do?"
"Well, I did sort of invite Carlos and Rebecca to visit next week." Lando smiled sheepishly. "But other than that, whatever you want."
"Of course you did." She laughed.
"What about you?" He asked. "What did Alice want to talk to you about?"
"She wanted to know if I thought I could stop throwing up long enough to do one show." Hannah explained. "The tour is on hold but there's that Christmas show at the O2 in December and she thought I might want to do it."
"Do you think you'll be up to it?" He asked.
"It's only three months away. I won't be that gigantic by then and I probably won't be throwing up constantly either." She answered defensively.
"I'm not saying you shouldn't do it." He reassured her. "I'm just asking if you think you'll be okay, I worry about you."
She relaxed a little when she realised he meant it and he wasn't about to fight her on it. "I think it'll be okay. The set won't be too long, they've got a good line up from what Alice said. I'd really like to get back out there again before the baby comes if I can. I had so much fun at Silverstone."
"Okay." Lando nodded. "As long as you're sure."
"It'll be the weekend after Abu Dhabi." She told him.
"I'll be here." He smiled, looking visibly relieved at the thought. He'd been fully expecting to have the disappointment of being away and not being able to be there to support her, but it seemed that this time luck was on his side for once.
"I've really missed you." Hannah sighed, leaning into him a bit more, arms tightening around him.
"It's only been a few days." Lando chuckled.
"A few days too many." She protested. "Blame the hormones."
"Blame the hormones for what?" He asked.
"Never mind." She mumbled, burying her face in his neck in an unsuccessful attempt to hide quite how much she was blushing.
"Hannah?" He asked. "Why are you hiding?"
"Because I'm embarrassed." She groaned.
"About....?" He asked, still not quite following.
"I'm all fucking hormonal and I'm sitting here in the middle of the night waiting for you to get home because I need you." She answered sheepishly. "It's all I've been able to think about all fucking day."
