Four months later

"What's going on out here?" Hannah asked, wandering back into the garden with a cup of tea in hand.

"They're plotting something I think." Rebecca laughed, glancing over from where she was sitting to where Lando and Carlos stood at the bottom of the ladder to the tree house. Isla had already climbed up and was waving her hands around looking very animated as she looked down on the two of them.

"Aren't they always." Hannah yawned.

"That's true." Rebecca laughed quietly. "You still not getting much sleep? I hate to say it but you look tired."

"I'd be offended if I didn't know how true it was." Hannah laughed. "I can't complain, Lando gets up with him during the night when he's here... it's just tiring having a baby and trying to keep Isla occupied too. I don't think she's quite got the memo about having to share the attention yet."

"She's got Carlos to entertain her this weekend." Rebecca joked. "It'll give you a chance to get a rest."

"She absolutely adores him." Hannah agreed, sitting down on the sofa across from Rebecca, eyes wandering back to whatever was going on at the foot of the treehouse.

"I'm pretty sure it's mutual." Rebecca laughed. "Or rather he might be more excited than she was."

"It's so good to see you guys, I'm sorry it's taken so long." Hannah apologised.

"Honestly don't worry about it, we know you're busy. I completely understand why you didn't want Carlos on your doorstep the day you came out of hospital either. It was maybe not the best idea he's ever had."

"He was excited, I get it." Hannah laughed. "Although I think if he'd seen the state of me it might've scared him away. I'm never having another kid again. I'd forgotten how awful it was."

"You're really selling it to me." Rebecca joked.

Hannah's eyes widened. "What?"

Rebecca shook her head. "Not yet, but Carlos has been desperate for a baby pretty much since Isla was born and I'm kind of coming around to the idea... well, until you start telling me stories about giving birth and not sleeping for months on end."

"I'll stop talking about that now I know." Hannah laughed. "My kids need a playmate. They can all entertain each other in the paddock while we drink coffee then."

"A clever scheme. I like it." Rebecca laughed. "Like when we send Carlos and Lando off to play golf to get them out of our hair?"

"Exactly that." Hannah laughed.

She watched as Lando gently handed their son over to Carlos, before clambering up the ladder into the tree house to bring Isla down, who was now crying for some inexplicable reason. She watched on as Lando wiped the tears from her face before he picked her up and very awkwardly climbed back down holding on to her.

He said something to Carlos that wasn't loud enough for Hannah to hear and then the two of them started walking back up the garden towards where Hannah and Rebecca were sitting.

"I can take him." Hannah offered, holding her hands out for Carlos to pass her the baby to hold but he shook his head, sliding into the seat beside Rebecca.

"You leave little Carlos with me." He said.

"That's not his name." Lando laughed, rolling his eyes and shaking his head at his friend.

"Middle name is close enough. You named your kid after me. It's cute." Carlos laughed. "Now no one can question it when I say I was always your favourite teammate. I have proof."

"I'm going to change his name if you don't shut up." Lando laughed, flopping down onto the seat beside his wife, Isla immediately crawling onto Hannah.

"Ah come on, you can't do that." Hannah laughed. "I like it. It suits him."

"Exactly." Carlos grinned proudly, looking down at the sleeping baby in his arms as Rebecca reached out to pull the blanket away so she could look at his face.

"He's pretty cute." Rebecca agreed. "You two do make cute babies, I'll give you that."

"No more." Hannah said firmly, giving Lando a pointed look. "These two are more than enough trouble for a lifetime. If we had another one we'd be out numbered and we are only just about keeping control as it is."

"She's not wrong." Lando agreed. "I don't even want to think about what it's going to be like once he's walking too. I need to get eyes in the back of my head or something."

Lando reached out and wrapped an arm around Hannah's shoulder, pulling her in closer as she adjusted the way Isla was laying on her trying to make it more comfortable.

"Once he can walk we put both of them in a go kart and you have your own F1 team." Carlos joked.

"Shhh." Lando joked. "You can't tell Hannah about the master plan, she's going to tell me that I'm not allowed."

"You're right." Hannah agreed. "I was looking forward to you finally retiring so I don't have to stress about whether or not you're going to crash and hurt yourself every weekend. You're not putting my kids in go karts so that I can worry about them instead."

"She'll come around." Carlos smirked.

"No, I really won't." Hannah shook her head. "They can both sing instead. It's a must safer occupation."

"Speaking of..." Rebecca interrupted, putting a hand on Carlos's arm to stop him before he could start another speech explaining why he thought they should get Isla a go kart. "Now this little one is finally here, does that mean you might finally get back on stage?"

"That's the plan." Hannah nodded, eyes flickering to Lando uncertainly.

"You will." He nodded encouragingly, giving her a squeeze. "It's about time. I'll be ready to wrestle both the kids."

"You going to let Isla run out onto the stage again?" Carlos laughed.

Lando glared at his friend. "I learned my lesson there, okay? It's not my fault she's just so bloody fast. I only looked away for a second!"

"It was so cute though." Rebecca smiled. "I don't think anyone minded at all."

"It was." Hannah agreed. "But maybe we shouldn't repeat it, eh?"

"Copy that." Lando agreed. "I'll keep the kids off the stage this time."

"And out of go karts?" Hannah asked.

Lando looked at Carlos for a minute before he answered. "No promises there."

Hannah rolled her eyes at him. "You're impossible, you know that?"

"But you love me." Lando smirked.

"Yeah." She agreed, leaning into give him a gentle kiss. "I really do."
