Kelby was just finishing up a training session with Marcus on how to manage an office, when her phone rang "Hello,".

"Kelby, I love you" Ethan replied "I have to fly back home for a few days to get the kids packed and bring out you baby bag so that we can be prepared, so that we can be there for the Business of Excellence Conference next week."

"Don't forget to pack a few books for them as well as quiet toys like your mom said as it will keep them busy in a corner that she has prepared. I'm just about through with the training here." she responded.

"Okay, I'll see you when I get back," Ethan sounding lost without her to help him to get the kids ready.

Kelby was always there when her and Ethan were to get the kids ready for an event that called for them to be away from the children and always planned on a children's corner to host for all of the meetings. This was a way to keep the kids involved with the parents and when they become teens it was different they would help be servers to the wait staff. As Ethan was and when a young adult attend the parties of businesses and their meetings to learn what they wanted to do in life.

Kelby turned quickly back to the training session asking "Do you have children?"

Which Marcus replied "No why do you ask?"
"This is why I ask when you have a meeting if a parent says he can't attend have him or her bring the child in with that child's favorite toy and book, allow that child to sit in a special corner of the room away from the meeting yet be visible to the parent, this way you can conduct the meeting. I learned this from my mother in law Julia Callsburg-Dakster who is the owner of Callsburg Dakster oil corporation." Kelby explained to Marcus the importance of having the children next to a parent.

Just as she was finishing up with setting up for the next meeting she heard a sound of breaking glass from the front lobby area. As she went to check it out smelling smoke she yelled for help and called for nine one one to bring about the fire department and the police to assist with rescue Seeing the nearest bathroom she goes to turn on the water to keep the smell of smoke from causing any further damage to her lungs as she had been in this kind of trouble before and Ethan had saved her from it. The smoke started getting heavier and the door to the restroom was getting hotter when she heard the voice of the firefighter yelling for anybody here, she screamed as the door was kicked in. The firefighter picked her up from the floor and carried her to the exit. The emergency medical team started looking her over while she was placed on the gurney and taken to the hospital to be fully checked out for any problems from the fire.

Marcus, who was in the conference room had also been taken to the hospital due to the smoke inhalation he had suffered along with some burns to his left arm that needed to be cleaned and dressed with anti-infective ointment and wrapped for the healing process to begin was in a coma now resting in ICU on a ventilator due to respiratory problems.

Kelby had told them she was pregnant and her husband had gone back to Mister, Oklahoma to get the children packed for the Business of Excellence Conference that was to take place in less than a week here in Cobbles, Ohio. The doctor in the er checked her for safety of the pregnancy term she was in, seeing that she was approximately six months pregnant and the fetus is developing well and wanting to save the child she was having the placenta abruptio that is starting to tear.

They notified the labor and delivery Doctor on call, Dr. Mavin Derk she came in immediately and looked Kelby over and asked if she had any family present here as she was going to take her in for surgery to repair the abruptio placenta. Kelby had told them that her husband had just left to get the other children from home and that she could call her cousin Donald Rogenis to be here for her. Dr. Derk " this needs to be a decision that your husband and you need to make, not your cousin."

"This will be my decision again to make on my own. Please do the surgery and attempt to save me and the baby. If not then deliver early, this is not the first time I have had this problem. I have two boys and we are hoping for a girl this time so please help us save me and the baby."

with the papers for surgery signed and her Cousin notified of her impending surgery today Kelby was taken into the labor and delivery surgical suite for the abruptio repair or for early cesarean section for delivery of premature infant.

Donald being scared for Kelby notified Ethan about what was happening "Hey man Kelby was in a fire that has caused her to have this surgery of abruptio something or other"

Ethan hearing this thinking 'oh God let her live. I don't want to be without her. Keep the baby safe as well as her' "okay we have done this before. I'm calling my mom and dad as well as her dad to be there in three hours at the airport. Can you have your brother Mike pick us up then and take up to the airport."

"sure thing I will give him a call now and then head to the hospital to wait for any news on Kelby's surgery." Donald replied.

Marleena picked up her phone to see Donald's number appear on it and answered "hello how are you doing?"

"Kelby's in the hospital due to a fire at the office where she has set up the new construction company for Marcus and he's in the hospital in ICU not doing well I hear. Is there any way you can come to sit with me as I wait to see how Kelby's doing? She's in surgery now." Donald with concern sounding in his voice.

"Kelby's in the hospital? Oh my, um yes I'm on my way there now. Do you need anything as I head that way?" Marleena's panicked sounding voice responded.

"no, just Company from you would do until Ethan can get here."

"Okay" she replied. As she left her home she stopped at the Kangaroo store and picked up a large black coffee for Donald and a vanilla french coffee for herself to take in and wait for the results of Kelby's surgery. Walking in she handed the large cup of black coffee to Donald, he willingly took it from her as he remembered that he hadn't had anything all morning to drink or eat.
