"Ah, the fairest of all modern-day maidens. Morrow be to you, Queen Beelzebub." Zestial the overlord said in an ominously smoky voice, as he took Bee's palm and gently kissed it.

"Greetings to you too, Zestial." chuckled Bee.

"To be quite honest with thee, thou did save me a most wondrous deal with thy calling." he continued speaking. "'For the ring that raised me, a real pain acid ran can be."

"...So I've heard." replied Tex.

"Anywho, I'm sure you two are all mentally acquainted with my partner in business, Carmilla." Zestial moved out of the doorstep to allow Carmilla Carmine into the house.

At times, Carmilla was a rather complicated woman of an overlord, known for her pompous manner as one of the top weapons dealers not just in the Pride Ring, but in all of Hell. While at the same time, she juggled a lot of controversies and rumours on her shoulders too, including the one time she killed an Exorcist angel during a recent extermination. To some people, it was like she was a Latino Loona who only hides her shady past in the name of charity and good will.

"OMS, it's smashing to finally meet you, Ms. Carmine." Bee held her hand out to shake hers, while she just ignored it.

"I do not shake, Beelzebub, that is but a hellhound trick." Carmilla retorted flatly. "I don't even shake when doing business, that's what my daughters are for."

"Right, shit. Sorry madam." replied Bee sheepishly.

Just then, Carmilla's two daughters, who both looked like scientists and/or delivery girls, walked into the room shaking Bee's hand by order of their mother. One of them actually shook all four of her hands in a quick amount of time.

"So, before we move onto our official business, as to why you're all here, ...You two dig that the kid we were talking about is... a little different, from us?"

"Different doth have its days in the sun." replied Zestial. Carmilla on the other hand started getting a little curious. "How different are we talking?"

"Yeah, I'll show you." Bee slowly walked over to Tex and crouched down right next to his thigh, where Balin was hiding behind.

"Balin? Sweetie? You can come out. It's okay." she softly spoke to him holding out her hand.

The boy felt very reluctant about what he was witnessing. One thing about Zestial was that on the streets, whenever people pass him by and recognise him, terror follows and ensues. And there was no denying that a 7-year-old kid, who was also human, could be shit-scared of such a dark and intense demon such as him.

But then again, he thought, he did learn a lot about him, his abilities and his work in the past from the library book by Charlie that Moxxie had given to him, like most of the other overlords and sins he studied. So he decided to put them to the test.

Hesitantly, he grabbed hold of Bee's hand and held her waist coming into the light. "H-H-Hi?" he whispered to the two rather quietly.

Both overlords had widened looks on their faces, even Carmine, who was most shocked to see a real living human walking amongst the dead and their living. It was like it didn't matter if he was a child.

"O me, the Devils." Zestial exclaimed softly in his Shakespearean tone, while Balin still held on tight to Bee's leg.

"Yep, it's that kind of different." Tex rubbed the back of his head anxiously.

"That's a... a 'human' kid." Carmilla asked still in shock. "You are... correct." Zestial replied to her.

"Before you two say anything, I just wanna tell y'all, this human's different from the rest. He's just a kid, a really good one." defended Bee, with Tex nodding for her.
