Merina woke up to an empty bed, it was early, she knew nobody would be up in her group but she knew the farmer's would be, Merina got up and slid her shoes back on, today she actually felt refreshed, it was the most decent sleep she had in a while, it was comforting.

Merina let out a stretch and grabbed her flannel before making her way downstairs, she saw Maggie in the kitchen, she sent the girl a smile before heading outside. She stepped off her porch as she was taking her hair down and putting it back down in a ponytail, her flannel wrapped around her waist.

She walked to the laundry and beginning to wash it, she tried to help out doing everything she could, runs, laundry, hunting- which she was really bad at and Daryl didn't let her go with him anymore.

Merina finished most of the laundry when Carol walked over, she hasn't spoken to the women since she saw last her daughter. After she had to explain to Rick what happened after she and Sophia had to run into the woods, Carol hasn't spoken to her so she wasn't exactly sure if Carol hated or was mad at her.

“Good morning, Merine.” Carol said with a weak smile as she walked over. She was kinda surprised to see the girl doing laundry, but didn't say anything.

“Good morning.” Merina mumbled as she continued hanging up the laundry with a sigh, Carol begin to help.

“I never got too thank you for saving my daughter as long as you could,” Carol said softly, a sad look on her face. Merina froze, looking over at the window. “I know you did all you could.”

Merina nodded, sending Carol a thankful smile before focusing back on the work, creating slience between the pair. “I'm sure they'll find her,” Merina said softly, which shocked Carol, she never heard the girl speak other then short responses or she was with Glenn.

Carol sent a thankful smile back, tears swelling in her eyes. “Why don't you go see your brother? I can finish here, Lori will be out soon anyway.” Carol said, the girl smiled before nodding, putting the last piece of clothing in her hands on the rope before heading off.

Merina passed Lori coming out of her tent as she walked by. She needed to talk to the older women but decided to wait, not everyone was out of their tent and didn't want anyone to hear so all she did was walk past which the two did share a glance.

Merina internally groaned once she realized she had to ask Lori about this, she rolled her eyes before turning back around and walked over to Lori.

The girl stopped a few feet away from the women, Lori looked up at her, seeing the girl's expression. Lori sighed and stood up from the campfire. “Mind your business, Merina.” Lori said with a annoyed tone.

“You're pregnant.” Merina mumbled, her eyes widening as she crossed her arms around her stomach.

“You can't tell anybody, okay?” Lori said strictly but she also sounded panicked. Her eyes flickered to Rick who was walking up the drive with Shane.

Merina looked at Lori dumbfounded, “You haven't told him yet?” Merina asked in shock but the women only shook her head at the women. Lori went to turn away but Merina stepped closer making the women look at her. “Do you need me to make a run into town?”

“I uh, don't know yet.” Lori said with a hesitate, shaky voice. “Go hangout with your brother.” Lori said before turning and walking off.

Instead of going to find her brother, she went back to her tent and walked to their little box of things that held a lot of their belongings. She looked around, pulling things out of the box, she found her notebook and a pencil before sitting down on the cot.

She wasn't much of an artist, she was good but she didn't particularly do it all the time. I guess since the world ended, it didn't matter if she did or didn't. There was barely anytime for it anyway.

She drew for what feels like forever til her brother walked into the tent, “Hiya Sister.” Glenn said with a childish smile but Merina only hummed in response making Glenn's smile drop. “Alright, what's the matter?” Glenn said making Merina look at him.

Marina's nerves went sky high in an instant, “What? Nothing, just...doodling.” Merina said nervously as she did her best to regain her focus on the notebook.

No, You're hiding.” Glenn said rolling his eyes as he squatted down next to his sister. “It's what you do when you get overwhelmed or too nervous, is it because of Maggie?”

“Partly.” Merina mumbled with a sigh, dragging her fingers through her hair. Her eyes flickered up at Glenn to see him looking at her with raised eyebrows, silently telling her to go on. “Lori told me she was pregnant.”

Glenn froze in shock, trying to process the information his sister had just given him. She huffed, “Stop it, you're making me even more nervous!” she said as she kicked her brother from his squatting position making him fall into his face.

Glenn jumped up, “She told you?!” Glenn whisper yelled with widened eyes as he stared intensely at his sister.

“Well...not exactly. She came up to me the day I was going on the pharmacy run, and gave me a list then gave me another list of something she needed and it was a pregnancy test, and I had to bring her one and-” Merina ranted but was cut off by Glenn, “Merina!”

“Right. Sorry.” Merina said breathlessly, she felt a little better getting it out and letting somebody else know. “Okay, now I feel a little better.”

“You do realize I suck at keeping secrets, as well right?” Glenn asked as he raised his eyebrows at the girl.

The girl's eyes widen in realization, she groaned before hiding her face in her hands. “Why did you want to know then?!” Merina said dramatically to her brother.

“Because I thought it was about your undying love for Maggie!” Glenn retorted rolling his eyes and punching Merinas arm.

“What! I'm not in love with her!” Mernie said, snapping her head to look at the boy with a dramatic look.

“Then why are you 'doodling' her?” Glenn said as he pointed to the notebook that had a detailed sketch of the pretty farmer girl.

“Shit...”
