Merina woke up in Maggie's bed but with no Maggie, she woke up refreshed and felt better but the feeling didn't last as soon as she made over to her group. Glenn greeted her with a grim look on his face, telling the girl that he and Dale were going to tell the group about the barn, though Merina didn't bother to stop him.

Merina looked over at the house, seeing Maggie step out onto the porch. Once Maggie saw the look on Merina's face, she knew what Merina was about to do. Maggie's face hardened, she shook her head as one final plea.

Merina let out a shaky breath as she sat down by the fire, she looked over at Dale and Glenn. Dale nodded before Glenn walked to the group as they huddled, getting ready for the day and eating breakfast.

“Guys.” Glenn said, swallowing nervously as he gathered the groups attention. Everyone was looking at him, “The barn is filled with walkers.”

Everyone was quiet, too stunned to say anything as they all struggled to progress the information they just received. They all thought this place was safe, but having walkers in the barn, so close where they lay their head down to sleep doesn't really scream safe to them.

Shane was the first one who jumped up and starting walking to the barn, Rick next, Daryl then the whole group started to go. Merina was the last one, her eyes flickered to the front porch, seeing Maggie standing there with a angry look on her face before heading inside.

Merina sighed before starting jogging to keep up with the group, Shane was looking into the barn, hearing the snarls and groans from inside the barn. He walked off to the group with an angry look on his face, his glare was towards Rick.

“You cannot tell me you're alright with this.” Shane said with angry look on his face, he was worried. Merina could tell, he was the type to be angry when something like this was on his mind or happening but he was too aggressive.

Rick shot Shane a glare, “No, I'm not, but we're guest here, this isn't our land.” Rick retorted back at Shane, giving him a serious look.

It only made Shane angrier, “This is our lives, man!” Shane yelled as he paced around, all his pacing and yelling was making Merina nervous as she wrapped her arms around herself.

Glenn stood by his sister, worried about her but kept his eyes on the Shane and Rick. “Lower your voice!” Glenn said, giving Shane a look. Shane only shot the pair a look back that made Merina squirm and made Glenn made.

Andrea let out a deep sigh, her eyes flickering around the group. “We can't just sweep this under the rug.” Andrea said as her eyes flickered to the barn.

Shane agreed with the blonde, “It ain't right, not remotely.” Shane said with anger in his voice still, sending another glare towards Rick before looking at the ground. Shane let out a huff, looking at the group. “Okay, we've either got to go in there, make things right, or we just got to go.” Shane said, it acted like he was the boss, and didn't even give anyone a chance to speak. We've been talking about fort Benning for a long time.”

“We can't go!” Rick said as he stared at Shane sternly, completely shutting down his idea.

Shane looked at Rick with a angry but a confused look. “Why, Rick! why?” Shane confused, taking a step closer to him.

“Because my daughter is still out there.” Carol spoke up in a soft voice, nobody dared to say anything to the grieving mother. It was like all the anger was shut off for a moment.

It was silent for a moment, before Shane let out a sigh and looked back at the group. “Okay, I think it's time that we all start to just consider the other possiblity.” Shane said tried to say calmly, but Rick cut him off, “Shane! We're not leaving Sophia behind!”

Merina knew that's not the only reason why Rick didn't want to leave, she knew it, her eyes flickered to Lori before narrowing her eyes at the ground.

“I'm so close to finding this girl.” Daryl said angrily, stepping closer to the group. His glare fixed on Shane. “I just found her damn doll two days ago!”

Shane let out a scoff, shaking his head as if he wasn't impressed. “You found her doll, Daryl. That's what you did, you found a doll.” Shane spoke.

“You don't know what the hell you're talking about.” Daryl growled loudly, staring Shane down.

“I'm just saying what needs to be said.” Shane said a little calmer, “You get a good lead, it's in the first 48 hours.”

“Shane, stop.” Rick said, sending the man a glare. Shane only gave him a glance before his eyes found Daryl again.

Shane scoffed, “Let me tell you something else, man. If she was alive out there, and saw you coming all methed out with your buck knife and greek ears around your neck, she would run in the other direction.” Shane yelled at Daryl, setting the man off.

Daryl tried to lunge at Shane, but the group was quick and tried to get the two men away. Merina tried to help, getting Shane away from the other man but was elbowed in the face twice, causing her to fall back, holding her nose as the group fought and yelled.

“Merina!” Glenn yelled as he gave Shane one final push in the opposite direction and rushed over, seeing the girl fall and holding her nose.

“Get your hands off me!” Daryl said as he pushed off away from the group, sending daggers at Shane. His eyes flickered to a way he can snap Shane's neck without being stopped but stepped down.

“now, just let me talk to Hershal. Let me figure it out.” Rick said calmly, his eyes flickering over to Shane.

Shane dryly chuckled, getting more and more mad with each passing minute. “what are you gonna figure out!?”

Rick, once again, sent his best friend a glare. “If we're gonna stay, if we're gonna clear this barn,” Rick said, frustration in his voice. “I have to talk him into it, this is his land.”

“Hershal sees those things as people.” Dale spoke up, and finally somebody who did Merina was getting tired of hearing the same people's voices. “sick people, his wife, his stepson.”

“You knew.” Andrea said in shock, looking at Dale with furrowed eyebrows.

“Yesterday, I talked to Hershal.” Dale said with a sigh, his eyes flickered around the group.

“and you wanted the night?” Shane said with a anger voice, his face hardening. Merina pushed herself off the ground.

“Back off, Shane. I knew first.” Merina said angrily, stepping closer to the male. Blood was pouring out of her nose and went down her face, her eye was swelling. Everyone was shocked to hear the girl talk to Shane, she never really spoke to him, especially not in the matter she had just done.

“What!?” Shane said angrier as he looked over at the girl.

“I thought we could survive one more night, and we did.” Dale said, getting Shane's attention once he saw Merina getting nervous. “I was waiting for this morning to say something but Glenn wanted to wait til this morning.”

“This man is crazy, Rick. If Hershal thinks these things are alive or not.” Shane said as he sent Rick one final glare and walked off.
