DAISY BLACKWOOD

And I finally did it. Turned 21 today. Rory, Aurora, Damon and everyone bursted into my room exactly at 12. Rory was holding the cake with a candle in the middle while wearing a triangular hat with three balloons attached to it. She is the one who gets excited the most.

I hugged each and every one of them before blowing the candle. They all clapped as I made a wish. This is something we do each year. But this is just the beginning, the real party starts after sunset.

After our little celebration we all went to bed.

After getting up I quickly did my morning routine. I promised dad to have breakfast with him today. After putting on a white coloured turtleneck sweater and beige coloured pants, I brushed my hair.

I put on some gold jewellery and did a simple makeup look. Even when I don't put on makeup, I need my gloss. Something you will always, I mean always find in my bag.

I replied to all the friends and family that wished me before starting the usual day which nowadays meant seeing Cal early in the morning with a cup of coffee.

As expected, he was waiting on his bike with a cup of coffee in his hand. It has been five days since that fight. Five days of him not texting. He comes every morning with a cup of coffee and the leaves. No talking whatsoever. And honestly, I am glad. After what I saw the other day, I would rather not have him around at all.

I walked towards him and grabbed the cup from his hand like every time but he didn't let go of the cup. I looked at him even though all I could see was his green eyes. "Happy birthday, caramel." I could feel the effect of his voice from my scalp to my toes. "Thank you." He still didn't let go of the cup.

"What?" "The validation of my promise ends today." I sighed as I knew which promise he was talking about. "Is there any way I can renew it?" I asked in a sarcastic tone. "There is and you know it too." I rolled my eyes and took the coffee from him.

I don't have time for this early in the morning.

I drove to the address that dad sent me. It was not that far. As soon as I got there dad embraced me with a big hug. "Happy birthday, sweetheart." "Thanks dad." Anthony also ran and joined our hug. "Happy birthday, Daisyyy."

I bent down and kissed his cheek. "Thank you dear." Isabella hugged me as well. I sat beside Rose who didn't say much.

Moments later Aaron joined us as well. He had practice early in the morning so he left. He wished me and Rose with a kiss on the cheek.

It was new and overwhelming. But it fulfilled the void I always had growing up. Birthdays were the days where I thought of my twin the most and now that she was here, sitting right beside me, it felt strange.

After breakfast dad was the first one to bid us goodbye. Isabella offered that me and Rose go shopping with her. And we agreed while Aaron and Anthony went home together.

Isabella chose our dresses and my gosh, they were absolutely stunning. It was a long ruffled dress. Mine was in the shade  of lilac purple while Rose's one was maroon. We were having such a great time. Now I understand what dad sees in her.

I was checking out a new dress when I felt a tap on my shoulder. "Rose, where is aunt Isa..." he stopped and so did I.

Noah.

"You are not, Rose" He stated as he looked down at me with his intense chartoise green eyes. Why on earth are these Levine men so tall? He had few similar face structures as Cal.

"I am not." I answered. "Is aunt Isabella here with you?" He seemed like he was in a hurry. "She is right there." I pointed at her and Noah already started walking towards her. Rose saw him and borrowed her eyebrow. "What are you doi..." and he already walked past her.
