(Char's POV)

I stand by the kitchen counter making breakfast for Mia who was still asleep, so naturally I took the opportunity to surprise her with breakfast in bed. The twins are both on their play mat, playing with their hanging toys and sweetly giggling to themselves. Once the waffles are finally finished, I dish them onto two plates and try to cut them up so they somewhat resemble hearts before adding icing sugar and whipped cream and strawberries for Mia. I then start the coffee machine to make her a black coffee and myself a caramel latte when I hear footsteps coming into the kitchen. "Sweetheart," she calls out as she opens the door. "Something smells nice in here, oh hi little ones are you having fun playing?" She goes straight to the twins, giving both of them a quick playful tickle and a gently kiss on the cheeks.

"Morning baby," she says hugging me from behind and kissing me under my jaw as I try to keep my hand steady making the coffees. I put the mug down before she quickly scoops me off my feet, taking me completely by surprise, and turns me around as I giggle and squirm in her arms. "This isn't fair," I moan as she picks me up properly so my legs are around her hips and attacks my entire face with kisses so I have to scrunch my eyes. "I was planning to," I giggle between the kisses. "Surprise you," she kisses the end of my nose playfully. "With breakfast," she plants another kiss on my lips. "In bed." I quickly gasp for air as she releases her lips properly. "But then you woke up before I could get this to you."

"You're so cute sweetheart," Mia laughs before softly kissing my lips. "Well you still surprised me because I had no idea you were doing this." She suddenly clocks the bouquet of mixed black and red roses in the vase. "Wait those weren't there last night?" "They weren't," I smile. "Because I got those for you last night and I hid them until this morning." "Flowers? Breakfast? Have I missed something why are you being so cute today?" She asks. "Well I just thought it would be cute if we all went out today since we've both got days off for once," I explain. "So I thought we could have breakfast in bed and then get dressed and I'll take you and the twins out somewhere?"

"Wait... where exactly?" She beams, her blue eyes lighting up. "Anywhere you like," I tell her stroking her hair off her face. "You're the best," she smiles before kissing me again and putting me back down. I pick up my plate and coffee, handing Mia hers. "Shall we go have this in bed then?" She nods and takes her plate and we both bring them upstairs before going back down to fetch the babies, carrying one each and sitting them on both our laps as we get back into bed. "You don't have any teeth yet darling," I smile at Cece as she tries to grab my food. "You're a funny girl aren't you?" Cece just babbles and giggles to herself as I tickle her feet, still eating my breakfast.

"You two are the cutest," Mia smiles already recording us on her phone. "Amelia you are so trigger happy," I tease. "I know," she says taking several photos of Fraya in her lap in the exact same position she was for the other fifty. "If we're going out today can I dress the girls? I have the cutest outfits I've been dying to dress them in." I trace my finger across the bridge of her nose playfully. "Of course you can sweetheart." Mia beams excitedly and pulls faces at Fraya, getting her to give her adorable gummy smiles and little giggles. "Oh I have something I've wanted to show you," she says. "It's in the attic, can you watch Fraya for a minute while I grab it?" "Ok," I laugh in confusion as she hands me Fraya and leaps out of bed hurriedly.

"What's mummy getting?" I ask the twins. "Do you two know anything about this little mission, huh?" Soon Mia comes back with a small, but heavy, briefcase and another lighter box. She lays both of them onto the bed, opening the heavier one up to reveal an old record player. "I've had this since high school and I found it when I was clearing out the other day," she explains opening the other box which contains loads of different records. "There's so many in here," I gasp in amazement, flicking through all the records. "Shall we give it a spin?" She suggests, holding up a record. "Let's," I smile enthusiastically.
