(Char's POV)
Mia comes into the living room. "Char have you seen my.... I should have known you'd be wearing it." "Wearing what?" I ask naively. She rolls her eyes playfully, sitting down on the sofa next to me. "My hoodie silly, you've stolen it again." "Sorry," I smirk hugging my arms around her. She kisses my forehead affectionately. "I'd be mad if you didn't look so cute in it." "It smells like you," I grin softly. "Feels like a nice warm hug from you all day." Mia flips me over so I'm lying on top of her, my arms wrapped around her shoulders and hers around my waist. "Is this better for you sweetheart?" She makes small pecks all over my lips and then the rest of my face.
"Much better," I hum happily. "I don't know if you noticed but I'm in a particularly cuddly mood today." "So you thought you'd dress in my hoody and be so irresistibly cute I'm tempted to cancel my plans for the day so we can cuddle and watch stupid movies all day?" Mia mumbles before kissing my shoulder. "Something like that," I laugh. "It'll be kung fu panda if Cece has the say." "I'm pretty sure she could recite that entire film by now," Mia says kissing me again, her fingers running through my hair softly. "You know you're really beautiful today. Well, you're beautiful everyday but you look especially gorgeous today." I blush at the gushy compliment, going even redder when she kisses me on the tip of my nose.
"And just as I thought you couldn't get any cuter and here we are." I hide my face in her shoulder. "Stop it Mia you're making me embarrassed." "Awww why?" She asks tracing my finger down my spine, my face still buried into the nape of her neck. "I can't go red like this every time you call me beautiful." "Why beautiful?" She smirks kissing the top of my head. "I for one find it very endearing." I unbury my face from her neck, looking straight into Mia's eyes. "I'm in love with you." She holds my gaze for a few moments, before holding my jaw in her hand to kiss me gently, taking her time to lean into it before she breaks away. "I'm so in love with you baby."
We start hearing the twins waking up from their naps on the baby monitor. I get up off Mia and we both go upstairs to see them. "Hey girlies," I whisper as we enter the room. "Did you two have a nice sleep?" "Nice sleepy," Fraya babbles. "Mummy... up!" I pick her up out of her bed and onto my hip, giving her head a quick kiss. "Morning darling." "Morning mummy," she babbles happily. Mia picks up Cece who babbles in her arms. "Cuddle cuddle." She snuggles herself into Mia as tight as her little arms can allow. She smiles, stroking her daughter's curls gently. "Do you want to watch a movie little one?"
"Panda panda hiya!" Cece squeals. "I told you so," I whisper. We carry the twins downstairs, getting them a snack each before setting up kung fu panda on the TV. I snuggle on the sofa with Mia and Cece, Fraya is more interested in watching the ducks go down her toy slide. "Panda panda!" Cece squeals at the sight of almost every panda that comes on the screen. Mia nuzzles her face into my neck, kissing it softly. "Beautiful," she mumbles. "You're beautiful." I can feel myself getting slightly red again. "It's honestly pathetic how much I love you." Mia smiles at me smugly before going back to watching Cece. She's sitting up beautifully, completely engrossed in the movie.
"Mummy," Fraya bawls. "Mummy duckies no work!" She sits there hysterically crying until I have to pause the movie to tend to her. "It's ok my pumpkin," I say cuddling her. "It's ok, it's just ran out of battery." "Me want duckies now," she sobs. "Mummy fix duckies pwease!" "Amelia," I whisper. "Would you mind finding some new batteries?" "We don't have any," she mouths. "Why Fray-Fray cry?" Cece asks, crawling down off the sofa to go and see her sister. "Fray-fray what wrong?"
"Duckies stop working," Fraya whimpers. "It otay," Cece says giving her a cuddle over my arms. "Fray-Fray have this." She takes her toy panda and hands it to her, which she's reluctantly takes. "Panda make it better for Fray-Fray." I let go of her, letting her give her sister a big hug which calms her down completely. "Otay," she says cuddling her sister's panda. "Fray-Fray watch panda hiya?" Cece asks, her eyes wide with hope. Fraya thinks for a bit before saying a loud "otay!" I get back onto the sofa with Mia, snuggling next to her as I press play and we watch the girls sit together watching it. "Hiya!" They both squeal every few seconds which bursts them both into fits of laughter.
"They're like little besties aren't they?" Mia whispers kissing my cheek. "They are," I nod. "Look at them watching so nicely together. You're a really good mum by the way Amelia, to all my girls." "Thanks baby," she smiles. "That means a lot. You know every day I wake up so thankful you trusted me to raise your children with me." "The things I do when I fall in love huh?" I laugh playfully tickling her under her chin. "Sit in my lap," Mia sighs sitting herself upright. "Come on, sit right here." "Ok," I giggle complying by her request.
"Listen," she says softly before planting a kiss on my lips. "I love you." She kisses me again. "Ridiculously." And again. "I think you're absolutely incredible." Another kiss. "You're the best thing that's happened to me ok?" Another kiss. "You make me laugh and smile like no one else. And I adore how red your pretty little cheeks go when I tell you." She pinches my cheeks, admiring the pink colour they had just turned. She kisses me again, taking her time this time, letting her hands tangle in my hair to deepen the kiss. Her voice goes slightly hoarse as she releases. "You mean... everything to me baby ok? I love you." "Why are you being so cute?" I well up a little. "Why not?" She shrugs kissing me again. "That's what you do when you fall in love is it not?"
