(Char's POV)
"Mia Mia wake up," I say shaking her awake. "What," she grumbles sleepily burying her head in her pillow. "The sunrise is so pretty, the birds are singing, the clouds are pink wake up!" I say energetically. "Do you know what's also pretty? Sleep," she groans pulling the duvet cover over her head. "Come on please Mia," I beg. "The early bird catches the worm." "Yeah and the early worm gets eaten," she mumbles half asleep. "Why is it you see yourself as a worm in this scenario?" I laugh pulling the pillow off over her head, revealing her cute messy bed head. I comb my fingers through it, gently taking out all the tangles as she squirms sleepily trying to get herself back to sleep. "Your bed head is really cute by the way." "Are you trying to flatter me into getting up or something?" She teases. "Because if you are it's working." "Then I am then," I smile. "I love you. I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you." I hug her tightly around her waist, attacking her lips with kisses each time I say it.
"Are you going red?" I tease pinching her cheeks as they flush red even more. The red in her cheeks almost match the colour of her hair. "No,"
she denies. "Yes you are," I tell her pulling her face up towards mine so our foreheads are touching. "It's ok you don't need to be embarrassed, I love you." She smiles at me, her steady breath hitting my face like a warm oven. She bites her lip slowly, looking into my eyes before finally connecting our lips. She kisses me slowly, her fingers lazily running through my hair and my hand rested on her waist. I pull her closer again to kiss her back, both of us smiling into the kiss. We both keep our eyes closed for a few moments after we release. "Come on then let's go to the garden it's beautiful out there," I say taking her by the wrist and dragging her out of bed. "I'm only doing this because I love you by the way," she grumbles as she stands up reluctantly.
"You're wearing this you'll get cold," she says passing me her hoodie. "It's not that cold," I mutter. "Charlotte.." she says sternly. "I don't want to hear it you are wearing my hoodie I'm not letting you catch a cold." I giggle a little as I pull the hoodie on over my head. "You're so cute when you're all protective of me." "I just don't want my sweetheart catching something," she smiles still half asleep. "Right come on then are we going to see this sunrise or aren't we?" She picks me up in a cradle and carries me downstairs, placing soft kisses on my stomach making me laugh.
When we get to the garden she puts me down gently so my head is rested on her chest. "It's so pretty," I whisper admiring the sky. The sunrise is so clear today, the clouds all pink and the birds chirping their sweet morning songs. "You're so pretty," she whispers playing with my hair and kissing my temple. "Do you know this hoodie's cuter on you, you can keep it." "Thanks," I mumble. She lifts my hand up to her mouth, placing a long, soft kiss on my knuckle. I look up at her with a small smile on my lips, my hand reaching into slowly trace every feature of her face, watching her smile as my finger skims her forehead and the bridge of her nose and then across her cheeks and her lips. "Did anyone ever tell you your eyes darken when you smile?" I mumble tracing my finger across her dimple.
"No," she mumbles. "Why would they? They only do that when I look at you." "Really?" I ask tracing my finger down her bottom lip. "Really," she smiles sleepily with a small yawn. "You smell really good," I murmur into her neck as my nose catches her sent. She smells all warm and clean, like the body wash she used in the shower last night. I send soft kisses up her neck, ending with a peck on her lips which she quickly deepens by raking her fingers through my hair, her other hand resting on my thigh. She groans tiredly into my mouth between each breath, needing my thigh with her hand to let me know she wants to carry on. "Are you tired baby?" I murmur as we release, our eyes still closed and our foreheads pressed together. "Yes," she mumbles. "B... but I still want more kisses."
She leans in and presses soft kisses onto my lips until I give in and carry on kissing her properly, my hand cupping the side of her face to deepen the kiss. I smile into the kisses, relaxing into the taste of her lips in the morning and the sound of the birds in the sky. I give her one more, slow drawn out kiss before I release completely and I slowly open my eyes, Mia's still shut. "It's starting to rain baby," I whisper feeling light drizzle start to fall on my head, which quickly becomes heavier. "Do you wanna go back inside now?" "Noooo," she groans. "Look come here let me just.." Her sentence ends by her pressing her lips onto mine, my hand running down her back as I relax into the kiss feeling the rain trickling down her as her shirt sticks to her soft skin.
She runs her fingers through my wet hair, kissing me deeper as she flips my body over so she's lying on top of me and kissing me passionately. My hand wraps around her back, tracing her curves while our tongues begin to overlap. Her kisses trail down to my neck, right under my jawline as we start to lose our breaths, her warm heavy breath tickling down my neck between the kisses and mixing with the water running down my face. I move her chin so she's back kissing my lips, my hands raking through her soaking wet hair as the rain gets even heavier. "I love you," she murmurs breathlessly into my mouth. "I love you so fucking much." She places a tender kiss on the centre of my forehead before collapsing onto me, her arms wrapped around the nape of my neck and mine around her waist as we just hold each other as the rain falls all over us. "I love you gorgeous," I murmur into her shoulder before kissing it. "Baby I can feel you shivering," she whispers. "Come on let's get you inside now."
She stands herself up and carries me bridal style back into the house. "There you go sweetheart," she says placing me onto the sofa and sitting next to me. I take the hoodie off, which is soaking wet from the rain, and chuck it onto the floor. She throws a blanket over my shoulders and wraps her arm around me. "Wasn't the sunrise so pretty?" I smile snuggling into her chest. "Mmm," she nods. "But I can't lie I was looking at you more than the sky." I frown my bottom lip in awe and press a quick kiss onto the centre of her forehead. "So I was thinking Mia when the girls wake up maybe we could..." I start, my sentence interrupted by her grabbing my face and pulling me in for a kiss. "Sorry," she whispers. "You looked really kissable... carry on."
"I was thinking we could.... Ummm...." I stammer, trying to think of what it was I was going to say. "I was thinking we could.... no it's gone, I don't know. You distracted me Amelia interrupting Roberts." "My middle name's May you idiot," she teases playfully booping the end of my nose. "I know that," I smirk. "I was just teasing you." I lean in for another kiss. "What time is it?" I ask with a small yawn escaping my mouth. "Half 6," she answers. "In other words time for you to fix that sleep schedule of yours. We're going back to bed, I'll take care of the twins when they wake up, come on I've got you." She picks me up off the sofa and carries me up the stairs and back to bed.
"Why are you like this?" I mumble as she lays me back down. "Because I love you and I want you to be well rested baby," she whispers giving me a quick kiss on my forehead. "That's it, you sleep for as long as you need and I'll take care of everything else." "But I want cuddles first," I grumble pulling her back by her wrist as she tries to get back up again. "Ok," she smiles getting back into bed with me. "I'll cuddle you until you fall asleep. Come on lie on my boob if you really want to." "I thought you'd never ask," I mumble happily, resting my head onto her boob as she rubs my back gently. "Sweet dreams my sunshine," she whispers in my ear as I fall back asleep.
