The Walker turned her attention back to the girl in front of her. They had to get to know each other, of course, but where could Lauren start? She had to introduce herself? Ask her questions? What if she found it rude? What if she makes a mistake?

"Nice to meet you!" said her partner, cutting short the reflections tinged with a slight panic. "It has already been said, but I'm Lys. I'm an Achron and volunteered to serve as a guinea pig for this course."

Lauren detailed the girl in front of her. The first thing that struck her was her eyes, an electric blue, with the left pupil dilated to the extreme – a mydriasis. Her somewhat round face gave her a childish air, framed by a crown of curly jet hair. She was lightly made up, as evidenced by the discreet glitter on her dark brown skin. The yellow jacket of the Achrons and the black uniform of Cigam highlighted his complexion. A Roman "I" hung from her heart – she was a Rank 1 student, like the Walker.

After a few seconds of silence spent scrutinizing her partner, the young girl realized that it was her turn to introduce herself.

"I'm Lauren, and I... I really want to apologize for being late," she said, wringing her hands in nervousness – again: she really needed to get rid of this habit. "I... I'm going to put you to sleep and try to get into your dreams. Uh... There you go."

The Achron tilted her head slightly to the side, as if she were going to ask a question, but changed her mind and smiled.

"Shall we begin?" she proposed.

"Oh, uh... Let's go!" replied Lauren.

Lys settled on his bed and closed her eyes. The Walker put her hand on her partner's forehead, infusing some of her power to make her sink into the world of dreams. Quickly, the Achron's breathing stabilized and became deeper as all his muscles relaxed.

The young girl went away and went to take her place in her bed. With her hands on her stomach to feel and control her breath, Lauren began to pull on her mind like a rubber band, to extend it in the direction of her target. All the sleeping spirits in the room seemed to be calling her, drawing her in, begging her for attention, but that wasn't her goal. Slowly, she came into contact with Lys's dreams.

And she fell.
