As soon as the day's classes drew to a close, Rarama took the path that led to the Library. Leaving the buildings in which she had spent her day, she entered the lush Inner Garden of Cigam, enjoying the air that caressed her face, bringing with it the sweet smell of flowers. A squirrel flees as she passes by taking refuge in a tree. She passed under an arch surrounded by huge white roses and noticed with amusement the nepenthes that were hidden among them.
The Library stood proudly in the middle of the greenery. The beige of its walls was much warmer than the gray of the other buildings, but Rarama was not mistaken: this one certainly contained the most dangerous things in the Academy.
For the second time, the young Lympyre entered the first level of the Library and took a few steps before stopping, captivated, to admire the place again. The first floor had a high ceiling, and works covered the walls entirely. Some, presumably imbued with magic, flew lazily through the air like strange birds of paper and ink. The room was comfortably furnished. A myriad of small round tables surrounded by comfortable-looking chairs were randomly arranged. Pastel carpets, strongly tending towards white, accompanied the relaxation areas. Finally, in the center of the room stood a majestic spiral staircase that rose to the sixth level, which she couldn't see. Guards were placed at the foot of the school to check that the students were allowed to climb the floors.
Rarama set her bag down by an armchair and looked for the books she needed. In the « Reinforcement » section, she found « 5 Reinforcement Techniques and their Flaws », and in the one dedicated to the senses « Analysis of the senses: is balance one? » that would be useful for her dissertation on Sensory Reinforcement. She quickly placed the books on the table before taking out a pen and paper. She stretched, then began to work.
It was interrupted a few minutes later by the arrival of Lys. The latter was livid and seemed to be on the verge of a panic attack.
