Chapter 30

"You still have not told me why we left the bar that way yesterday, you have been avoiding the topic" Nyx says standing akimbo in front of Camilla who sat outside to clear her head in the early hours of the morning. Camilla occupied a swing in the garden, with the help of her legs, she rocked back and forth on the swing.

Yesterday, she was shocked to see Ramiel and Hans at the bar she visited with Nyx , she wondered what they were doing in this part of town. Ramiel was not the type to leave the city to a town if it was not urgent.

Seeing Ramiel yesterday was something Camilla didn't expect, it all happened so shocking, she was extremely surprised and leaving the bar quickly was the only escape route she could think off. It was the only idea that popped into her head and she acted on it quickly, she was not prepared to meet him, not now and not like this, she still had a lot of men to kill in order to avenge her dad before she could finally have her freedom.

Camilla sighed before answering, she can't hid the fact that she saw Ramiel yesterday at a bar after so many days "I saw Ramiel and......" before Camilla could finish responding, Nyx asked

"You saw Ramiel?" She had a shocked expression on, her eyes were shone wide open at Camilla.

".....and Hans" Camilla replied

"You are serious?" Nyx asked shocked, she was honestly not expecting that reply.

"I am. I was more shocked when I saw him" Camilla says.

"What are they doing at this part of the town?" Nyx asked

"I wondered same thing. When our eyes met yesterday, I felt like the ground should just open up and swallow me, I was so shocked" Camilla told her

"You are sure he was the one you saw?" Nyx asked seriously

"I am, I've never been so sure about something before in my life" Camilla spoke

"This is bad" Nyx said "really bad"

Camilla nodded

"We both know who Ramiel is, he would go to any length to find you, he can do anything to get what he wants" Nyx says

"You know I can't see him now, if boss finds out again, he won't spare our lives. We went through a lot recovering" Camilla said

"We can't change location again, we barely settled down here and now we should move again" Nyx complained

"I just don't know what to do, Ramiel is in town now and he has seen me, he know I stay in this town and he will find me" Camilla said

"Your life is pretty fucked up. Permit me to say these though, I have never seen you as happy as you were when you were with Ramiel, I know I shouldn't say these but I would really not want you to live a boring life like me. If you are happy with Ramiel then go for it, go for what makes you happy. Left for me, I would say you forget all about the revenge and start all over, start afresh, a new life" Nyx spoke

I looked surprised at Nyx, I wanted to confirm if I just heard her say that, this days Nyx was different, she acted different and was saying unusual things.

"Who says you can't have both a love life and build your career, you can do both and if truly you love and trust Ramiel, I think you should just tell him the truth" Nyx said

"Tell him about me?" Camilla asked

"Yes, tell him everything, who you are, what you do, tell him all about you, everything that concerns you, tell him all he needs to know" Nyx said

"Nyx I don't think this is a good idea" Camilla spoke

"I didn't think I would say these one day but if you don't protect the one you love, you will definitely regret not protecting him when you end up losing him" Nyx said

"And what about boss? What if he finds out?" Camilla asked

"We will just have to deal with him then, besides it's your revenge and if you want out, so be it, he shouldn't force you to avenge your father's death. Honestly I am tired of these life, it's no fun and I know you are tired too. I see how you space out, I see you when you cry in your quiet space, I see how sad you have been these past few days, though you are trying to act tough but we all know you miss him" Nyx said

Camilla teared up, her life has been really messed up, these was one of the most difficult times in her life, everything was happening the way she least expected. She hadn't been the same since she left Ramiel's life, the very day she walked away from his life was the same day, she started feeling empty, sad, moody, depressed, it was the very day she became dejected. Who knew that living Ramiel could affect her so much?

If only she knew she wouldn't have let herself fall in love with him, she would have turned him down the very first day he had spoken to her , at least they wouldn't be here now.

Nyx was right, it was time she told Ramiel the truth about her, it was time she told him the secrets about her life, all these secrets was not good for her, it was not helping her, she hid her identity from him and she lived her life in fear, fear from being exposed, fear that one day Ramiel would find out about her identity and would walk away from her life because she betrayed and lied to him. She wondered what Ramiel's reaction would be when he found out she was an assassin and the reason for most of the crimes at the city.

Ramiel wouldn't take it lightly, she wondered what his response would be when she would tell him that she was an assassin.

Camilla really missed Ramiel, she had concluded in her mind to visit the bar she saw Ramiel at yesterday tonight. She just hoped she would see him, they had a lot to discuss and conclude, she couldn't wait to see him, hug him, kiss him and probably more.
