I miss you, I'm sorry

Part 31

Aj and Niko being friends again was a strange but relieving sight for all the boys. There wasn't a continuous bicker spreading throughout the house, a tension had risen off their shoulders. But it was weird. Both boys had an unspoken hatred for one another, but it seemed like they were ignoring it for the time being. The past week Aj and Niko had been talking quite a bit, joking and messing around with one another. Thats when the notes started...

Aj was laying on his bed, on facetime with Zayden and updating her on his life. 

"You cunt, you didn't tell me you went to the hospital!" 

"Calm down it wasn't that deep." AJ laughs

"WASN'T THAT DEEP! AJ. Be real with me now, you went to hospital, wouldn't have made it unless you had a blood transfusion,  which your ex-boyfriend, now 'friend', who you both love and hate, supplied you with, even though it was partially his fault you were in the hospital to begin with... you're telling me that's normal?"

"With the life I've had it's probably the most normal thing that has happened." AJ giggles, taking a puff from his vape, watching Zayden do the same. 

"Fairs." Zayden rolls her eyes, "But I'm not happy that you were harming yourself, A. You could've spoken to me, I could've helped." 

"I know, I'm not proud of it either, but come on I'm literally on 24 hour surveillance watch, Sharky and Kenny plan all my meals and Amin checks my wrists every day."

"And what, Niko checks your hole?" Zayden says bursting out laughing.

Aj gasps in shock at Zaydens comment, "Haha very funny." 

"I know, I'm hilarious."

"Fuck you."

"No thanks," She winks, "Last time I checked I was still very much into pussy."

"Ew, gross." Aj grimaces. "Speaking of being watched, uhm, I don't know recently I've had this feeling that like I don't know, someone's watching me. Like you know that feeling when you're walking down a road alone, and you keep looking behind you to check if someone's there, yeah like that. But like almost constantly"

"Hmm, that's strange. Maybe the anxiety or just Paranoia?" 

"Maybe," AJ shrugs.

"Maybe it's because all your friends are watching you all the time, it's like the feeling is stuck with you even when they're not."

"Yeahh, that sounds about right."

Just then Aj hears a knock on his open door, and finds Niko standing in the door frame. 

"Hey Aj, we're planning to order some chicken, what do you want?"

"One sec," Aj says to the phone, turning to face Niko, "Uhm,  a chicken burger meal please and.." 

"...A single chicken tender." They say at once, both smiling .

Niko nods, shaking his head, "Okay sure... Who you talking too?"

"Zayden," Aj replies, seeing no harm in speaking to the girl, but pulls a confused face when Niko rolls his eyes, "What?"

"Nothing. I swear you two were only 'fake dating' in front of the boys?" He asks suspiciously.

AJ giggles, "No, Amin, Sharky and Kenny assumed we were dating and I didn't correct them, big difference. What am I not allowed friends now?" He raises an eyebrow.

Niko kisses his teeth quietly, "Sure AJ, keep talking to your 'friend'."

"What do you mean 'friend'." AJ questions unsure why Niko was so jealous of the girl who had done nothing to him.
