"Good morning to all of you. Before we proceed to our discussion, I would like to ask; are there any new enrollees or new addition to our class?" Tanong sa kanila ng kanilang prof pagpasok sa classroom. As he eyes wandered around the room, his eyes caught sight of Casey. "You seem to be an unfamiliar face, miss. New enrollee or transferee?" He questioned, pointing towards her."

"Transferee po, sir." Sagot naman ni Casey.

"Very well. Can you stand up here in front? Pakilala mo naman sarili mo."

Casey nodded and followed the professor's instruction. Once in front, napatingin siya sa mga kaklase niya— Skylar and Sheila who are both silently cheering her on, habang may pamilyar na mukha na tumingin sa kaniya at ngumiti.

Casey took a deep breath bago magpakilala, "Hello, everyone, I'm Cassidy Rivera. You can call me Cass or Casey, for short."

"So, Casey, which university were you from bago ka mag-transfer?" Tanong sa kaniya ng prof nila.

"Sa UST po, sir." Almost everyone's attention was caught by what Casey responded with.

Ang prof naman nila ay halatang nagulat din but then nodded and decided to ask another question, "UST? That's one of the most prestigious university in our country. Why did you decided to transfer here in SMU?"

Gaya kanina nang makilala niya sila Sky at Sheila, Casey explained the reason why to her prof, as well as her other classmates. Some empathized with her, some pitied her, while others were just listening carefully for any other things she might add.

"I'm so sorry to hear that, Ms. Rivera. Still, I'm sure your father will be proud of you from up above." The prof placed a hand on Casey's shoulder and patted it gently, "And don't you worry, dito sa SMU, we ensure na walang makaka-graduate rito nang walang natututunan. Alam ko may mga kapwa transferees ka rin dito sa klase. Ms. Santiago, diba transferee ka rin?"

Nang ituro siya ng kanilang propesor, Skylar immediately nodded and said, "Yes po, sir."

"From which university were you from, Sky?"

"Sa DKKU po."

"DKKU? Sa'n 'yon?"

"Dr. Kwak Kwak University, sir." Si Sheila naman ang sumagot imbis na si Sky. Lahat naman ay natawa sa pangalan ng university na nabanggit, kahit pa ang prof nila.

"Buti na lang pala lumipat ka- joke! Pero alam niyo, mabuti na lang at dito niyo napiling mag-transfer dahil talagang hinuhubog namin ang aming mga estudyante. In fact, dahil sa SMU, may mga kilalang MedTech students dito noon na ngayo'y graduates na at nagtatrabaho na ngayon sa mga ospital dito sa Pilipinas or di kaya naman sa ibang bansa. For example, si Serena Catacutan. Dati panay reklamo lang niyan ta's ngayon registered nurse na."

"Ayan na naman si sir sa pagmamayabang niya sa SMU. Porke't dito siya naging gurang." They suddenly heard Myles stated from her seat, making the other students around her snicker.

"Ano 'yon, Myles? Ulitin mo nga nang mabigyan kita ng suspension sa class."

Myles snorted, "Chill, sir. Can't you take a little joke?" 

"As far as I know, Ms. Fernandez, jokes are meant to be funny."

"Of course! I'm sure I just heard my classmates laugh earlier, so... it's funny, diba, sir?" Myles shrugged, earning another series of laughter from the other students and a high-five from her best friend, Jamie.

"Casey, pwede ka nang maupo." Sabi ng propesor nila kay Casey, na siya namang sumunod sa sinabi nito. Binaling naman ng prof nila ang tingin kay Myles, "Ikaw, Myles, nawala lang sa'yo si Max, nawalan ka na rin ng respeto."
