After an hour of driving, the group arrived at their destination; Alex's family mansion.
After pulling up her car on their garage, Jamie motioned everyone that they can now exit the car.
Once they did, Jamie stretched her arms and admired the luxurious view in front of her eyes. "Hay! Sarap talagang magkaro'n ng mayaman na kaibigan!"
Alex chuckled and motioned everyone to follow her. "Let's head inside, guys. Pahinga muna tayo sa living room."
The group excitedly followed her towards inside of what Alex likes to call a 'huge shelter', in contrast to how her friends exaggeratedly calls it a castle. However, that doesn't change the fact that the whole place really screamed luxury- and it gets even more so as they explore their surroundings.
"Wow! Ta's overnight lang tayo rito? Grabe!" Bulalas ni Sheila habang pinagmamasdan ang paligid. She admired every ounce of furniture in sight before plopping down on the sofa in the living room.
"Grabe naman, sobrang amazed. As if namang hindi malaki bahay niyo sa Australia, beb!" Jamie teased her girlfriend before sitting down next to her.
"Feel ko nga mas malaki pa 'tong mansion nila Alex, eh." Katwiran naman ni Sheila "Imagine-nin mo, nag-iisang anak lang si Alex, so tatlo lang sila sa pamilya. Masyadong malaki 'to para sa kanila, if excluded mga maids and servants ng pamilya ni Alex, compared naman sa'min sa Australia na parang sardinas kung magsiksikan sa iisang bahay."
"You guys can stay here overnight naman, if you want to." Alex said casually.
Sky wrapped her arm around Alex's and said, "How about me ba, Ali? Do you think na pwede tayong mag-sleepover? 'Di pa nga know ng parents mo na we're a thing, eh."
Alex let out a knowing smile. "So... should I save it until I introduce you to my parents na?" She said, raising her brows.
Kinilig naman dito si Sky at itinago ang mukha sa balikat ni Alex bago ito yakapin. "Ali naman eh."
Alex chuckled and smiled at the sight of her not-yet-girlfriend, and was about to give her a kiss on the forehead if it wasn't for Jamie pulling her shirt from behind.
"Hep, hep! Ang sabi, magpahinga hindi lumandi. May bata rin, oh. Baka naman." Sabi ni Jamie, gesturing towards Glenn.
This earned a laugh from everyone, including the younger, before they finally started settling down inside Alex's home.
Nang makapagpahinga na nang mabuti ang lahat, mula sa living room ay tinignan ni Myles ang kitchen area, kung saan busy ang mga personal na tagapagluto ng pamilya ni Alex sa pagluluto ng kanilang mga pagkain, at nagsimulang magtanong.
"Alex, do you mind if we use your kitchen later? Gusto rin sana namin kayong ipagluto ni James mamaya for dinner. Nakakahiya naman kung sila pa rin sasagot."
Jamie nodded in agreement. "Oo nga! Alam ko namang marami kang pera para bayaran sila, kaso gusto rin kasi namin magluto tayo nang sama-sama para simpleng bonding lang talaga as magkakaibigan mamaya. As in tayo-tayo lang talaga."
Alex shrugged, seeing nothing wrong with their suggestion. "I'm fine with that. You guys can use whatever we have in the kitchen."
Myles and Jamie high-fived each other. "'Yun oh! Mapapakita ko na rin sa inyo ang aking pang-malakasang chef skills!" Sabi ni Jamie.
"Magbe-bake ako ng cookies, what do you guys think?" Suggestion ni Myles.
"Hala?! Marunong ka palang mag-bake?" Gulat na tanong ni Sheila.
Myles glanced at her younger sister's direction to make sure she couldn't hear their conversation. As soon as she confirmed that Glenn's too busy with her tablet, and wearing her headphones, saka niya sinagot ang tanong ni Sheila.
