Just as Alex promised, inaya at dinala niya sa isang coffee shop si Casey, just so they could catch up as well. Knowing Alex, iyon naman talaga ang purpose niya for asking Casey in the first place .
"I still can't believe that we'll see each other again after ilang years." Alex muttered before taking a sip of her coffee, "Sana nasabihan ako agad so I could give you a bit of warning kila Myles and Jamie."
"Pa'no kita sasabihan kagad eh diba nang-ghost ka?" Casey deadpanned.
"Huy! That's not ghosting, ha? 'Di ko naman alam na we're moving away that day. If I did, ikaw unang makakaalam, Cass." Depensa ni Alex sa sarili kaya naman natawa nang bahagya si Casey.
"Relax, I understand. Pero... ayun."
With the way Casey's tone changed, Alex immediately noticed and got the message behind it. Kaya naman, pati ang tono ni Alex ay nag-iba.
"You're still upset about..?" Alex questioned, trying to be cautious about it.
Casey shook her head, "No! No! Siguro nanghihinayang lang kasi nga... Alam mo na." She sighed and put her drink down, "Pero it doesn't really matter na, 'no? Nasa iisang university naman na tayo, diba?"
A smile crept up on Alex's lips, nodding in response to what the girl in front of her had said.
"Mhm." Alex hummed, showing a face of satisfaction, "Ako bahala sa'yo. I'll make sure that Jamie and Myles wouldn't bother you."
"Si Jamie lang naman problema ko, as of the moment. Hindi naman nanggugulo si Myles. Sabi rin sa'kin nila Sky na ayaw niyang naghahabol ng babae. She wants it the other way around." Sagot ni Casey.
"You'll never know, Cassy." Alex shrugged, "If something, or someone will provoke Myles, papatulan niya 'yan."
"Hindi rin naman ako papatinag, Alex, don't worry. Wala akong time para diyan." Casey answered, showing a small smile.
Alex had never felt such relief from hearing those words.

On the other hand, Myles and Jamie went at the bar where they were invited over by the girls that the former was talking to earlier at their school's hallways. Nang makita sila ng mga babae ay silang sinalubong ng mga ito.
"Myles! I'm glad you came over!" Bati ng isa sa mga girls na kinausap ni Myles kanina. "We saved you a seat! And uh- I guess there's one more room for Jamie rin."
"Luh! 'Di ba 'ko welcome?!" Angal naman agad ni Jamie dahil sa tonong binigay sa kaniya ng babae.
"Si Myles lang naman talaga inaya namin, 'no!" Sagot sa kaniya.
Humirit pa ang isang babae na kasama nila, "Oo nga! Dedma sa'yo, Jamie!"
"Unfair, ampota!"
Myles chuckled at the sight before wrapping an arm around Jamie's shoulder, "Okay, that's enough. Girls, best friend ko si James, okay? Matik na kasama ko siya when I go out. So, she stays."
The girl crossed her arms and huffed out of annoyance, obviously not pleased by Jamie's company, but she tried to play it cool for Myles, "I guess... Tara na nga. Do'n tayo sa malapit sa bar counter."
The girls lead the way towards their seat as Myles pats Jamie's back for comfort, who still looks upset by the girls who are cursing her presence dahil gusto nilang ma-solo si Myles ngayong gabi.
They all sat down as soon as they reached their table. The girls immediately focused their whole attention towards Myles, eager to engage her in conversation. They filled the table with flirty remarks towards each other, strong, alcoholic drinks, and loud music that went on until it was almost late at night.
As the girls flirted with Myles, giving her their full attention, Jamie glanced at her best friend and whispered, "So, pa'no na 'yan? You're trying to get Cass to be interested in you, 'no? What's your plan?"
Myles raised an eyebrow, smirking as she took a sip of her drink. "Hmm... I will try to be as minimal as possible, like, you know, flirting, giving her attention, and other verbal efforts. Most people can't resist me for long kahit gano'n lang."
Jamie chuckled, nodding her head. "Well, she's different, though. Masyadong focus sa academics. Sa totoo lang, I'm confident that you wouldn't be able to charm her so easily in that way. Parang mahirap ata patibagin 'yon."
"I have my ways." Myles muttered under her breath, downing all of her drink in one go.
One of the girls from the group leaned closer to Myles and whispered something in her ear, but Myles was only half-listening. Her thoughts were going nowhere as she looks straight into one direction— zoning out as she tries to think of ways on how to get Casey to like her, just so she could prove to Jamie that she could get all the girls if she wants to.
But, the thing is, iniisip niya rin ang mga pinagsasabi sa kaniya ng kaibigan niya kanina- na mahirap patibagin ang isang katulad ni Casey na masyadong focus sa pag-aaral. This was Myles's first time trying to get someone's attention instead of the other way around. And, not gonna lie, she may look confident but she's actually lost.
