Pagpasok pa lamang sa loob ng building ng university nila, agad nang dinumog sila Casey sa may hallway ng mga estudyante, kasama na rito ang mga nakarinig sa kanila mula sa libarary nang mga nakaraang linggo. Pinagmamasdan na pala silang mabuti ng iba sa tuwing magkasama sila ni Alex. Ni hindi pa nga nakakahinga ang tatlo nang maluwag matapos ang biyahe nila papuntang SMU.
"Casey! May something ba sa inyo ni Alex?" Tanong nang isang estudyante, na kaklase rin nila.
"Oo nga! Narinig kasi namin kayo kahapon and parang may laman mga salita na sinasabi ni Alex sa inyo kahapon." Sunod na sinabi ng isa pa.
Casey barely had time to process the barrage of questions thrown at her. She shot a glance at Sky and Sheila, who both raised their eyebrows at her, obviously amused by the attention she was getting. Sheila even crossed her arms, looking like she was enjoying the drama unfolding before them.
"Wala!" Casey replied, trying to debunk any ounce of issue that the students might've already built upon themselves. "Grabe naman kayo. Study lang ang pinag-usapan namin kahapon. Ang OA niyo!"
"Omsim!" Rinig nilang sigaw ng isang estudyanteng papalapit sa direksiyon nila mula sa malayo. It was Jamie, along with Myles and Alex beside her.
"What's going on here?" Alex questioned as soon as they got close. Casey greeted her with a light slap on her arm, in which the older acted as if she was hurt just to tease the younger, "Ow! Is that how you greet your friends now?"
Casey rolled her eyes, "Magtigil ka na nga, Lex. Kung ano-ano kasi pinagsasabi mo kahapon kaya tuloy ngayon na-issue tayo."
Jamie grinned upon hearing this and decided to butt in, "Tama! Ayaw ma-issue ni Cass sa'yo and ayaw mo rin naman siguro 'no? Tabi mo, ako na lang!"
Sky almost choked on nothing and Sheila tried her best not to laugh like a maniac, while Alex and Casey threw Jamie a funny, almost disgusted, look. Si Myles dedma lang dahil kausap ang ibang mga babae sa paligid, plus she's already used to her best friend's weird antics.
Casey sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose, "Seriously? Ilang beses ko bang sasabihin na hindi ako naghahanap currently ng ka-relationship?"
"Why not?" Jamie raised her brow and tried to look as charming as possible, currently failing miserably as Sky almost snorted from watching her. "Kung ayaw mo kay Alex, ako ready and willing!"
"Ako hindi, so ikaw ang tumabi para naman makapasok na kami sa classroom." Casey clicked her tongue and started walking pass by Jamie, who blocked her direction to stop her from going away.
"Sige na, Cass! One chance, oh?" Pilit sa kaniya ni Jamie habang hinaharangan ang daan nito.
Casey roughly shoved her away. "Neknek mo, Jamie! Pareho lang naman kayong masahol ni Myles. Tingin mo papatol ako sa ganyan ang ugali?"
Narinig naman ito ni Myles and it caught her attention, making her shift her focus away from the girls she was talking to, raising a brow at her direction and began listening to her conversation with her best friend.
Jamie whistled and bit her lip at the attitude that Casey showed her. "Wow! 'Yan mga gusto ko! Mga suplada effect, playing hard to get."
Casey just shot her a disgusting look before walking pass by her, only to bump against Myles as she tried to avoid Jamie.
"Sor—" Agad namang binawi ni Casey ang pagtawad niya nang makita niya kung sino nabunggo niya.
It was none other than Myles.
"Cat got your tongue?" Myles said, smirking. "Are you too mesmerized by my visuals, hm?" Dagdag pa niya before sending Casey a wink.
Casey ignored Myles's flirting and shoved her away roughly using her elbow. "Isa ka pa, tangina mo. Tigilan niyo nga ko!"
