Matt and his family arrived in their little patch of land 30 minutes away from No-Name Town.
Eastveal.
Eastveal was like any other small suburban farm town.
Only a few small shops, including a corner store and a pub. A playground with only swings, a slide, and monkey bars. But it still had a lot of houses and a small population around 300 to 350 people, and the Sanders family was one of them.
He had his mom and dad as usual, but at seven years, Matt was the youngest to a nine-year-old sister and a ten-year-old brother.
Together, the small house they lived in was about two minutes a walk away from the town, with two other houses next door and three more on the other side of the road.
...
As their car drove through that exit, Balin and Loona stepped through the portal they had opened from Nan-Nan and Pops' neighbourhood.
Loona had decided to stay in her human form in case there were more humans than previously anticipated. Instead, she just showed a surprised look at how small the town actually was.
"Huh. I was not expecting this." she said.
"Yes, it's small." replied Balin with a smile. "But it's cool."
"I guess it is, isn't it?"
"Well, Loona, Matt lives right around this corner. Just past the little shop." pointed Balin. He was about to walk, until Loona softly stopped him by his shoulder.
"Easy there, meal." she giggled. "I know you're excited and all, but, why don't we just wait for a little bit?"
The boy tilted his head feeling confused. "Why?"
"Well, it's because we didn't follow him. If we were on our way to his place right now, there'd be a taxi following them." explained Loona, giving his hair a ruffle. "So we can't just go up to them now, they'll think; how did these two magically appear here?"
"Good point." the boy replied with a giggle from the head-rubs.
"So why not... give me a tour of this place?" she suggested.
Unfortunately, she said that before glancing back to see
"Ooh, scratch that. Nothing much to look at around here." she chuckled, rubbing the back of her head.
"It's okay, I know how you feel." replied Balin. "I felt the exact same way the first time Matt showed me around."
And in saying that, Balin then remembered one special memory about the early days of his friendship.
"Hey Loona, can I please tell you a story?" he asked her.
"Of course, sweetie." replied Loona.
Holding her hand, Balin took her to a bench right next to a park with only a small playground. It included equipment such as a see-saw, a massive slide, and a set of swings.
"Sorry if we're sitting next to..." he mumbled awkwardly. Loona to see a church was on the other side of where they were sitting.
"Meh, I don't mind. It doesn't hurt." she replied with her smug smile.
As Balin began explaining his story to Loona, little sparks of stardust formed, depicting it for the readers.
"So, when I was 5, me and my 4 other mates from school went to Matt's house for the first time. It was his first time we hung out together at his place, and during then, he gave us a tour around this street. Or so I thought. Minutes later, I realised it was actually a Pokemon Go game."
