○•○

In my twenty years of existence, I haven't really seen myself get married. Maybe because of my age and dreams in life that drove me to forget about marriage and just focus on my goals. I didn't hate the idea of it, it's just that it doesn't cross my mind.

And I can't believe that it is going to happen to me in just a couple of hours. As always, I was sleepless mainly because I was thinking what is going to happen later.

It's just a marriage for convenience and not love. It's not an ideal wedding for me, but I had to do it anyway. I had no choice.

I'll just have to bear with it. We just live under the same roof yet have different lives.

"What's with the face?"

I asked the Queen to let them have their preparations here last night.

I forced a smile, "I'm nervous." Sagot ko which is true.

"Don't be. You'll be the happiest bride and wife to Lyko."

"Yep! Duty. Be a wife and a mother. That's what Hades told us to be."

Be a wife and a mother? A woman can do more even without being one of those.

"You'll be happy. Hades will bless you." Dagdag niya na di ko na dinugtungan.

The ceremony will be held in the city's open convention center.

It sounds the same with my way of wedding but no, it is totally different. This... is much more magical and extravagant.

Words spread about our marriage like wildfire. Royalties who are close with this family came the other day to visit. I was polite to come down from my room and greet them with a pleasant attitude.

And I realized, maybe it really was because of this family's credibility. How will the people react if they found out that they're housing a foreigner?

Someone not from here? They'd start questioning. And outsiders, people outside the bridge, didn't know everything. So they'd lose their trust.

Am I really getting married? At this age? Twenty is too young! And I'm getting married to someone I don't love.

yet.

I fidgeted on my fingers as chills started to form on my body. Parang gusto kong magback out.
