Season 3, Episode 3
"The Searchers"

Rylin swam through the water until she was able to get onto dry land. By that time, the sun was starting to set. She walked around in hopes of finding her team or honestly anyone that could help her.

Her concussion managed to get worse. The insane amount of swimming she did and the state of panic she had been in when she lost Christopher had caught up to her.

Not only did she feel completely drained, she felt guilty. She felt guilty because she had lost Christopher. It would be her fault if he got hurt. Or worse.

Instead of finding anyone that can help her, she found a building that looked like it was about to collapse. She could hear many screams from the inside of it.

She took a deep breath before looking at the building a little closer, trying to find another door she could go through since the main door had been blocked from a bunch of debris and furniture.

She walked to the side of the building and saw an opening. It wasn't exactly a door or even a window, but it was the only entry point she could get to. She found something to grip onto and pulled herself into what she figured was the second floor of the building.

She was immediately met by a bunch of people in a small hallway. "Hey!" she shouted.

"If you can walk, jump out of this hole and get as far from the building as you can." she added, pointing behind her to the hidden hole she came through.

Nobody hesitated and listened to her words. Luckily, the building was only two floors and from what she gathered, everyone in the building moved to the second floor once they got word of a tsunami coming their way. She noticed that nobody was seriously injured apart from some cuts and bruises.

She later found out the building she was in was an office building. She assumed it was a small buisness because the building was so small. She decided to go to each room and make sure no one else was in the building.

Making it to the last office, she saw two women in it. "Hey! You guys have to get out of here." she told them.

"I told her that, but she insists on getting everything out of here." one of the women said.

"You don't have time for that." Rylin said. "This building's gonna collapse any minute now."

"Well, then you can take my sister and leave without me." the other woman said. Rylin watched as she uploaded stuff onto a flash drive and gathered a bunch of folders into her hands.

"Ma'am you should leave while there's a safe way to get out." Rylin said, thinking of ways to get the woman to leave.

"Not when I have years worth of work to save."

"Maya, your work is not worth your life." the woman's sister said.

"She's right." Rylin said right before the building started to shake. "We need to go, now."

"Like I said," Maya started. "You can take Sarah and leave without me. If I can't save my work in time, I might as well die with it."

"Maya, please." Sarah begged.

Rylin hated what she was going to say, but she could basically feel the floor beneath her started to give out. "Sarah?" she started. "Clearly your sister isn't moving. I can tell you want to leave. Please, just come with me."
