Season 3, Episode 8
'Malfunction'

"I haven't seen this much blood on the ice since a squirrel crawled into the Zamboni." a stage director said as she brought the team to the accident.

"Any idea what caused the accident?" Bobby asked.

"Well, the Snowy Owls were finishing up their "Free in the Forest" bit. Hansel and Gretel hit the ice for their breadcrumb schtick, and boom— bloodbath on ice." A small laugh escaped Rylin's mouth as she watched Buck continuously slip on ice.

"Hey- instead of laughing at me, you could help find the fingers." Buck told her. Rylin laughed once more as she moved around the rink, hoping to find at least one of the man's severed fingers.

The two of them were slowly getting back to the way they used to be. Rylin still feels like she forgave Buck too quickly, but she knew there was no going back, so she tried to make the best of it and accept that she finally had her best friend back.

"Found two fingers, Cap." Buck announced. "Still looking for the other ones."

"Hey, got the pinkie." Eddie shouted.

"Don't know which finger I have, but I found one, too!" Rylin said.

"What is he doing?" Rylin asked as she watched Bobby shine a flashlight on the ice.

"Found it." Bobby said, holding up a piece of sequence.

Rylin chuckled once she figured out why there was a piece of sequence stuck in the ice. "There's no way a piece of sequence cause a man to have 4 fingers literally chopped off and an ice skater to have a skate stuck in his chest."

"When your blade runs across one of these, it stops your skates dead in their tracks." Bobby explained. "A wardrobe malfunction can be the most dangerous part of figure skating."

"So how come you know so much about figure skating?" Chim asked.

Bobby sighed. "My partner Heidi Shatsky and I were Twin Cities Junior Pairs Champions three years running."

"I always thought you were a hockey player, Cap." Eddie said as Rylin tried to stifle a laugh.

"Who says you can't do both?" Bobby asked, walking away.

"We'll google for photos later." Buck said as each member of the team looked equally distraught and confused.

"Dude, she's kicking his ass." Lena said as she and Eddie watched Rylin take on a guy that was twice her size.

Rylin had accepted Eddie's invitation to go to an illegal fight club again, Lena happened to have gotten the invitation as well. Rylin basically promised Lena that she would get to see her fight, so she of course couldn't break that promise.

"Oh, my God, they're betting on her." Eddie laughed in amazement.

"Did you have any idea she could do this?" Lena asked.

"No. Not at all." Eddie said, starting to get ready for his fight that was after Rylin's.

Rylin was on fire, or she at least felt like she was. So much adrenaline was pumping through her body. All of the anger she felt with the whole lawsuit thing was suddenly gone in that moment. She felt amazing.
