Season 4, Episode 12
"Treasure Hunt"

"FIVE MILLION DOLLARS?" Rylin asked Eddie. Apparently some guy had burried what Eddie described to be a treasure chest somewhere in Los Angeles that had around five million dollars in it.

"Crazy, I know." Eddie laughed.

"So we're gonna look for it, right?" Rylin asked.

"Buck and I will look for it." Eddie said. "You shouldn't be on your feet."

"Boo hoo." Rylin said. "I have a slight limp. I can get around with my cruches. If you don't let me go with you, I'll make sure to find it on my own."

"You're not coming with us." Eddie said.

"Last one to find the treasure is a rotten egg." Rylin laughed before hanging up.

"A rotten egg, huh?" her dad laughed as he placed a plate of pancakes and bacon in front of his daughter, sitting down across from her.

"There's a guy who burried a chest with five million dollars worth of jewels and stuff." Rylin explained.

"Honey, please don't tell me you seriously believe someone did that." he said.

"It's a possibility." she shrugged as she stuffed her face with bacon.

"Or you just want to get out of the house." her dad suggested.

"Yeah, that too." she said. "Whatever. You sure you have to go home tomorrow?"

Her dad nodded. "Your mom wants to leave, I have to go with her."

"Of course." she sighed. "Care to team up with me on a treasure hunt before your flight tomorrow?" It took a while for Rylin to convince her dad to go on the treasure hunt with her.

"Do you even know where you're taking us?" Rylin's dad asked as they walked through a random walkway in the woods.

"I did my research on this guy." Rylin said as she looked all around her. "This guy liked to run, so looking at different pathways may lead us to something. Maybe another clue."

"Okay, well we aren't on a pathway anymore." he told her. "We're by a river."

"It's barely a river." Rylin said. "Just trust me."

"All right." he laughed before changing the subject. "Rylie, I never got to talk to you after what happened last night."

"What's there to talk about?" Rylin asked.

"I just wanted to make sure you're okay." he told her.

"Yeah, I'm fine." she shrugged. Truthfully, her mother's constant disappointment in Rylin does affect her. She never tells anyone about it though. She's just so used to it at this point.

"She's been like this my entire life. It sucks, sure, but I'm used to it."

"Rylin?" a voice said from afar, inturrupting her and her dad's conversation. Rylin looked around and saw Bobby and Athena, and Hen and Chimney standing a few feet in front of them.
